We had a great stay at Tracy’s place. We went there right after the winter storm, roads were cleaned and access was clear. We had everything we needed. We loved having the entertainment and games in the cottage. The area was peaceful and less than hour from Gatineau National Park.

We had a wonderful time soaking in the hot tub and taking the spectacular scenery. The place was spotless, had everything we needed, and the views from the living room, deck, and fire pit were so beautiful we didn’t want to leave. My group of ladies have stayed in a number of wonderful places and this was our favourite so far.

5 stars is not enough! What a beautiful place to stay with my family. Ahmed was one of the greatest hosts I’ve had. The next time we are in Ottawa, we will be back. The Christmas decorations and setting made it feel like a hallmark movie!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was even nicer in person compared to the photos. Great attention to detail. The beds were very comfortable with softer & firmer pillows. The wood stove by the big TV and cushy couch was great. The hot tub was amazing. Lake side view off the deck was very nice. Strongly recommend. We’d love to come back.

This was our second time staying at Paul’s cottage and it was a perfect location for a March break with our kiddo and friends. From building snowmen outside, to spending time in the hot tub, to swimming in the indoor pool, there was no time for boredom! The huge dining table was ideal for doing puzzles, diamond dots, bracelet making, etc while still having lots of space to dine. The comfy reclining chairs in the living-room were the perfect spot to relax after active days. The kitchen had everything we needed to store, prep and serve our meals in style Paul is a fantastic host. Quick to check in and respond and so kind. We’re looking forward to booking the cottage again soon.

Jessica's place is absolutely mesmerizing. the main room and bedrooms are like the place you see in a movie. the place was spotless clean and the place was equipped with everything you can ask for. communicating with Jessica was super easy. she's very responsive and the instructions for check in and check both through the App and at the location are crystal clear. I had an incredible experience

Kelly’s place felt like Grandma’s Cottage, in all of the best ways possible. It felt like a home away from home. Everything is well thought out, with touches of vintage decor and boardgames. It felt like a blast from my childhood and was really special watching my son play with toys I would have played with as a young kid. My whole family felt comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, bonfires and cute town of Wakefield. We would definitely recommend and would rent again! Thanks so much Kelly for your wonderful hospitality!

There are only a few places on Airbnb that I would return to happily, and this is one. This spot really stood out! The large kitchen/living/dining are was awesome to spend our time in, we had lots of space to hang out. The kitchen had most of the stuff you would need, kitchen towels, decent dishes and kitchen tools/utensils (unusual on this platform!), dishwasher. The beds were comfy, the sheets were nice. There were four private bedrooms - on is off the main space but the other three are upstairs and quiet. Unfortunately we had crappy winter weather, but it would have been amazing to skate on the lake or go for a cross-country ski nearby. We would like to return to this place - it felt comfortable and relaxing, and had what we needed! We saw a flock of about twenty wild turkeys in the neighbourhood, and heard a raven nearby. We rung in the new year by the campfire. Thank you Sébastien!

Can’t say enough good things about this listing and the hosts! Kiara and Lee are so kind, helpful and friendly. They really care about giving you a relaxing and wonderful stay. The home is new and modern and even better in person than the pictures. Great, well-appointed kitchen, beautiful bathroom with luxurious shower and lovely bath tub in the master suite. Lighting was all dimmable, smart TVs everywhere you’d want one., views of the river are gorgeous and I will miss the sweet, friendly goats Yankee and Doodle. Kiara and Lee go above and beyond and think of every detail to ensure you’ll have a worry-free stay. We would love to come back again and would highly recommend this place to our friends and family.

Myself and 3 ladies so enjoyed this peaceful fun weekend Their Air B&B was the perfect place to unwind, take walks, very clean, beautiful lakefront and sunsets were stunning Close to Carleton Place and Almonte for shopping and terrific restaurants Would certainly recommend.. Enjoy if you do book in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Laura’s cottage. It had everything we needed for our relaxing weekend getaway. We sat on the dock and enjoyed the quiet lake even if it was during the winter. Will definitely be coming back in the summer or in the fall. Laura was responsive and a great host. Thanks again :)

Lovely cottage on lake Mississipi that was perfect for 4 people and our puppies. Wonderful communication and easy check in and out process. Good distance from Carleton which has access to all you need. cozy stay.

The location was beautiful and very peaceful, host was accommodating and very friendly/responsive. Lots to do at the cottage to keep you busy for the weekend, would def recommend.

The house was fully equipped with all the essentials and everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was warm, spacious, and welcoming, providing a truly supportive atmosphere. The hosts were very responsive and attentive, making the experience even better. One of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in!

me and a group of dads went up for a weekend of relaxation. the cottage was clean and exactly as described. beds were comfortable, sauna was great, hot tub was amazing, everything you need is there.

Dayna and David are INCREDIBLE hosts. They took care of every detail and looked after us when we were effectively snowed in. Their home is creative, beautiful, peaceful, spacious. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The whole neighbourhood is gorgeous and talk about lovely people! We want to come back in the summer. And the sauna! Let me tell you, in the winter, this was the sweetest treat. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience and how we were treated - like close friends. They get my highest recommendation.

Had a great stay at Adam's place for a couple of days. Adam was very nice and responsive. The hot tub after a day of snowboarding was a big plus. The fireplace was nice and cozy on a cloudy and rainy day. Overall, it was a great experience and can't wait to be back next season!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, le calme est saisissant, la vue sur le lac gelé Lola depuis le salon, cuisine, terrasse ou la chambre principale est incroyable. La maison est bien équipée et on se sent rapidement chez soi en quelques minutes vue la disposition, des équipements, et les meubles installés. La réactivité et la disponibilité du hôte Chris est salutaire .Petite cerise sur le gâteau nous avons eu droit à des feux d'artifice le 31 décembre au soir organisé par le petit centre communautaire de la région. Je recommande ce cottage pour vous reposer et surtout vous déconnecter de la vie stressante des grandes villes. On y retournera surement pour les activités d'été

Vraiment content de notre week-end! Petit chalet modeste et cosy, on avait pas besoin de plus pour passer un beau moment entre amis au coin du feu en bord de lac. Communication fluide et directe avec Sariana, on aime :) merci !
