Hillcrest is ideally situated for exploring the local sights and offered a comfortable hassle free stay, would definitely recommend it.

We highly recommended booking the cabin if you wish to stay in the area. We had the warmest welcome from Sian and David. Superb hosts, very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The cabin is thoughtful furnished and has all the amenities you need. Situated right next to the canal with beautiful walks nearby. Perfect for our overnight stay while cycling from Suffolk to Anglesey.

Great place to stay if, like us, you are walking Offa’s Dyke as less than a mile off the trail at Trevor’s Basin/Aquaduct. On the main Llangollen Road it is 0.6 miles from food at Trevor’s Basin (advise booking latter if wanting to eat pre 5:30pm on a weekend). Accom even has washing machine if needed and they very kindly left us milk/water/Welsh cakes as a Welcolme package

Incredible stay! Easy access to both Llangollen and Chirk within 10 minutes on either side, despite the steep roads. Gorgeous little cottage- warm, homely, clean, and with incredible views from all windows. Would stay again!
