Vacation rentals in Gan Island

We had a lovely stay here! Such a clean apartment, and so nice to have the pool and gym on site. Our host was so friendly and always answered our questions quickly! She also got us all a little gift each, which was so sweet of her❤️ couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Loved this spot! Ended up even extending to over a month. Osman is an incredible host - was extremely helpful, thoughtful, and kind. The place is great - open, spacious, the lighting is better than the photos show. I loved the privacy of the home as well. Having a kitchen was great. I walked to the beach most days. Overall just a great experience! Highly recommend.

Marleys Cottage is fantastic and the perfect location to explore the south coast. The place itself is good, and had everything we needed for our stay. But the outside space and the plunge pool are the main event. The view is stunning and you're right on the beach. Nishantha greeted us and made us feel at home straight away and was really helpful during our stay.

We are a travelling family and the villa was just perfect for us. We also work online so we needed a quick internet - and it worked very well. Sanjaya and his family are warm beautiful people and they always helped us with anything we asked for. We also enjoyed the garden that is full of birds. Very recommended accomodation! I stayed with 2 friends for a 6 day surf vacation. The house worked great for us. Very well located near the Sion surf point, near many restaurants and coffee shops, very specious and well equipped. DD was pleased and proactive and helped us feel at home. We will return there as soon as we can. Highly recommended.

Amazing location on the lake. The host and dinil are super helpful and took care of all our needs. Would definitely come back again. Thank you guys

Just got back from freshwater house, we had an amazing stay. Pictures don’t do the place justice, it’s very modern, great pool, big bedrooms and bathrooms and extra sleeping places in the loft spaces and mezzanines. The best thing about our stay was Moh and the girls, they were amazing hosts. They couldn’t do enough for us, the meals that they cooked for us were absolutely amazing every time, and they were always asking if we would like coffee/fruit juice/ snacks. I suffered from a bad back while I was there and Moh even gave me a massage every day free of charge, which really helped. We had to leave at 4am for our flight and Moh and the girls even came in to make us coffee and see us off which was a really nice touch. I can’t recommend this place enough and if we ever return to Mirissa, we wouldn’t hesitate to book freshwater house again. Thanks so much for looking after us, we had an amazing stay

Fantastic Villa, the pictures don’t do justice to the place - it’s better than what can be seen here. The area outside is peaceful and surrounded by lush greenery and the property grounds are perfectly landscaped with a beautiful swimming pool and outdoor seating area. The living room and kitchen are fantastic and all essentials are well stocked up. The bedrooms and bathrooms are also up to 5 star quality with clean soft linen. No problems on water and no problems on electricity. The staff doesn’t fully understand English but enough to get through and very helpful. Only draw back is that it is 15-20 mins away from Unawatanu / Galle so you need your own transportation.

The house is perfect, we had such a nice stay here. Very stylish, good location and the housekeeper is the sweetest and makes very nice breakfast! The restaurant Citra that they have down the street is one of the best in Sri Lanka also! Would recommend this place to everyone and we hope we have a chance to go back one day!
