Beach house vacation rentals in Galveston

This is the 5th Airbnb that we have stayed in in Galveston, and it was BY FAR our favorite. The hosts communicated with us quickly, and we're very informative, pleasant people. The beds were super comfortable, and I loved that there was a TV in both bedrooms. My favorite part was the small appliances available to us! There was a toaster, blender, coffee pot and keurig WITH an assortment of coffee pods. Evan & Lala, you have a sweet, quaint little place here, and we really hope to stay with you again on our next visit!! Thanks again for your hospitality!!

This is our second time staying at Vincent’s place. We really enjoy it! It was 8 total adults- so great that everyone gets their own room with a balcony! Even though it’s the second house from the beach, the way it’s built makes it feel like the first. In winter, we’re the only ones around and the beach is a private dream. The house is super clean.

Very clean home with stunning views of the ocean. The beach is a short walk with tons seashells. We had a great time!

This house is perfect! Great location... beachfront and only 5 minutes to downtown and all the best restaurants and bars. The large deck and patio furniture is perfect for enjoying the view and hanging out. This is a prefect house for our group of 9 people. The firepit and hot tub were just icing on the cake. I would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 9 had a great winter weekend stay. The house is beautiful, layout is great and fit us perfectly. Great living area with high ceilings that was super comfy for all. Kitchen is lovely and well equipped. Nice beds and well appointed bedrooms for our group. The bunk room has full sized bunk beds, so were large enough for adults. Great views and beach access and very private in winter. Tammy was super responsive. There was some difficulty getting into the house at check-in and she responded right away. Also, answered all questions quickly. One of us left sentimental jewelry and she is mailing it back to her. House is located almost to the southern end of the island- far from the hustle and bustle of more crowded parts of Galveston which was perfect for us. Would absolutely book again for a group.

Cat Alley was a great place to spend our family Labor Day vacation. The house was clean, comfy and beach access was the best. Our daughter loved the plethora of beach toys the house provided. The showers were hot and the AC was cold. The cherry on top was the patio platform that gives you un-obstructed views of the gulf from sun up to sun down. If you need a beach house, you've come to the right place!

We had the best time with our large family celebrating Thanksgiving. It was the perfect place to unwind and rest and make memories. We played football and volleyball on the beach. We cooked with a fully stocked kitchen that has anything one would ever want plus some! We watched movies, took the ferry, had coffee and wine on the porch to start and close the day, respectively. We will absolutely go back! Loved this house and host!

Parks dept policed beach multiple times daily and kept it beautiful. Everyone who stayed remarked on how quiet the house was. Mahagement was absolutely fantastic. Dryer stopped heating one day and was replaced by conscientious, polite crew the next day. We've been visiting Galveston for 50 years and this house was one of the best I've rented. More set up for lage families than multiple couples, but plenty of room for large families. Highly reccomend

Had a wonderful stay. Very well stocked. Hope to come back with grandkids soon they can enjoy all the extras. Felt very much at home. No clutter. Well decorated. Love the Jamaica Beach area. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Gloria’s place was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we booked, Gloria’s communication was superb—she was incredibly responsive, helpful, and made sure we had all the information we needed before and during our stay. The house itself was spotless, with everything impeccably clean and well-maintained. But the real highlight was the backyard oasis—it was truly amazing! A perfect spot to relax and unwind, it felt like our own private paradise. Having access to the golf cart was an added bonus. It was super convenient and fun to cruise around the area with ease. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend staying here—you won’t be disappointed!

We had 75 degree weather and rain for 5 days straight in July. Who would have thought?! Having the hot tub and fire pit really saved the trip for us. We did make it down to the beach each day for a couple hours but it was rainy and cool so we came back and warmed up in the hot tub. House was very clean and had a great selection of beach toys to borrow. Terrible mosquitos, but I think thats normal for the area and the amount of rain. Overall we had a nice time and would return. Molly's beachfront house is absolutely stunning! It’s spacious, impeccably clean, and well-designed. The cargo elevator is a fantastic addition, making it so convenient to transport luggage and larger items to the third floor. Molly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, even responding promptly to a question at midnight. Her attentiveness and quick responses made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a luxurious and hassle-free beach getaway!

Kelly was an host. Communication was absolutely amazing. She constantly checked in with me. She was so great. Her how was amazing. I would absolutely book with her again!!

The airbnb was one of the cleanest we have we have stayed in and much closer to the beach which was awesome. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, this is it. Pilar has everything you need. There was some debris and trash around the sand from the recent hurricane and mosquitos so bring mosquito spray. My husband and I love that we could enjoy our coffee with view of the beach. My kids loved all the variety of toys to play with. We had some days with rain but overall had a very relaxing stay. We really enjoyed this house and location. House was very clean and well kept. Beach was very close walking distance maybe 2 min away. Beach felt private and very serene and community is quiet and peaceful. Rudy the host is very responsive and proactive. We will definitely stay here again.

The house is gorgeous and it has the most amazing views. Sunrise from the master bedroom windows was the highlight of each morning. The owners were helpful and very responsive - we had one or two small issues at checkin that they handled immediately. We loved the closet of board games! The area is quiet and there is only one grocery store but it had everything we needed. We didn’t go to any local restaurants. A few things to consider: the listing says 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. This is true but one bedroom and bathroom is in an apartment downstairs so it wouldn’t be good for kids. It is a longer walk than it appears to the beach. It was fine for me and the kids but would’ve been way too far for someone with mobility challenges. The kitchen wasn’t as stocked as I had hoped (no real glass wine glasses, only plastic, not a lot of silverware, short supply of spatulas etc). Finally, there were no amenities for the beach, no buckets or shovels, no beach towels, so pack your own.

We took a risk and booked during December knowing well that we would not be able to get in the water due to cooler temps. Despite this, we had a great time! The view was beautiful. The location was private. We were the only ones at the beach during or stay. I would love to come back during the summer. There were a couple of upkeep issues but the host let us know with time and responded quickly as well. Overall it was a good experience and would love to book again.

Host was very responsive and helpful. Up front about issue with clothes dryer and oven. Techs sent during stay to attempt to make repairs. Oven repaired but part had to be ordered for dryer. Bob sent local property management representative Rafael to help with getting windows open the evening of our arrival. Rafael was very friendly, professional, responsive and helpful. Home had some exterior issues from recent hurricane and needs some repair. Property / Home was clean, decorated and accommodating for pets. I communicated with host Bob via email / app. and text. He was very friendly and responsive. It was a pleasure communicating with him. I would stay at the properties of this host again.

We were there 5 years ago for my 65th birthday at that time there was a lot of beach in front of the house so you walk down the beach. This year there was no beach the water had taken the beach away. All and all we had great time. Great beach house. Need more bandaids in first aid kit. Brother in law slipped on the rocks try to feel the water. Check out time really sucked 10 am it should be noon for what we paid. Check in was 4 o’clock a little late
