Beach house vacation rentals in Galveston

The hot tub definitely was a great thing to have with spring break weather always being a bit iffy gives you a warm place to play in water with the kids. Overall we had a great time and it was great to walk right on the beach.

Loved our stay here! Was a perfect location to walk to the beach, restaurants and the pier. I stayed here with my wife, kid, 2 parents and had plenty of space to feel comfortable. Would recommend this place when visiting Galveston!

We really enjoyed our stay at Vincent’s beach house. The beach is literally a few steps outside the front door. All the bedrooms and the livingroom have decks with a nice view of the beach. We stayed during Spring Break. The beach is private access so it was peaceful and was not crowded. The kids loved the hideaway spot at the top floor and made it their own little space. This place has a lot of space. The kitchen is fully equipped with a huge refrigerator. I would definitely stay again.

Very clean home with stunning views of the ocean. The beach is a short walk with tons seashells. We had a great time!

House is in a great location right on the beach with easy access to and from. Being able to sit out on the deck and listen to the ocean was very peaceful!

We had the best time with our large family celebrating Thanksgiving. It was the perfect place to unwind and rest and make memories. We played football and volleyball on the beach. We cooked with a fully stocked kitchen that has anything one would ever want plus some! We watched movies, took the ferry, had coffee and wine on the porch to start and close the day, respectively. We will absolutely go back! Loved this house and host!

Nice quaint house. Perfect for 2 kids & 2 adults. Outdoor shower was great! Loves how there was a deck build around trees. The out door fire pit area was very secluded. Thankful there were female amenities: pads, tampons & razors for use. It was our home away from home for a few nights. Felt safe in the area. Comfy beds & pillows. Honestly I would stay here again.

We had a very enjoyable 4 days in Taras beautiful home. Tara did a tremendous job she thought of everything that a family would need including the above ground pool/toys /beach. Very clean and relaxing. We felt very comfortable and safe. We will definitely go back.

We had a wonderful stay! Gloria gave very clear instructions on how everything worked and the place had everything we needed. The pool stayed a consistent temperature throughout our stay and even when it was chilly at night, the pool felt amazing!

We had 75 degree weather and rain for 5 days straight in July. Who would have thought?! Having the hot tub and fire pit really saved the trip for us. We did make it down to the beach each day for a couple hours but it was rainy and cool so we came back and warmed up in the hot tub. House was very clean and had a great selection of beach toys to borrow. Terrible mosquitos, but I think thats normal for the area and the amount of rain. Overall we had a nice time and would return. My family and I stayed here, it was perfect! I had to reach out to Molly about the Internet being down and she immediately checked and got back to me. The beds were so comfy! You can hear the ocean waves it was so peaceful! I highly recommend this place! Very relaxing and the pictures don’t do it justice! I’ll definitely be back!

This was our third time staying at the Flip Flop Inn, and it remains our favorite AirBnB out of many, many that we have stayed at all over the world. We love the decor/atmosphere, and the house is simple and bright, with plenty of room for our two families of four, but still feeling like a simple house that is not stressful to manage while staying there (like some luxury rental homes can feel). The back deck is a very pleasant place to hang out and pass the time.

Highly recommend this house for your Galveston stay especially if you have a large group! Absolutely loved the open floor plan and the front balcony was amazing for the kids to play. The pool was incredible and stocked with so many pool toys for the kids. The beach is super close - even with kids who like to take their time walking - it didn't take us more than 5 minutes and we had toes in the sand! The hosts were the most responsive and helpful that I have ever experienced - you cannot go wrong with this house! We had an incredible time and would absolutely stay here (or in any of their properties) again!

The airbnb was one of the cleanest we have we have stayed in and much closer to the beach which was awesome. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, this is it. Pilar has everything you need. There was some debris and trash around the sand from the recent hurricane and mosquitos so bring mosquito spray. My husband and I love that we could enjoy our coffee with view of the beach. My kids loved all the variety of toys to play with. We had some days with rain but overall had a very relaxing stay. Thank you for everything Pilar!

This is the second time we stayed here and we will continue to book for years to come. Not only do you have the perfect home for hosting large parties, the views from both the deck and inside the house are fantastic. The beach is basically the backyard. During our stay Sarah and Mark were so responsive. We found that the blender was broken and they had a brand new, Ninja blender bought and brought to us within the hour. Also, a pipe burst below the deck after getting back from some time on the beach. May have been due to weather changes or water pressure changes, however, Sarah and Mark had a plumbing team there in no time who fixed the pipe. Fantastic experience. Will book again.

I was very impressed by the condition of the house. It is well maintained and clean! 🙌🏻 Decorated in soft beach colors. It was a quick walk before your toes hit the sand and surf. There is something to do on every level of the house! Chairs on the observation deck, fully stock kitchen with every appliance you might need and then some, comfortable and clean bed/bathrooms, and the downstairs covered patio has a fenced in grassy area for your pet and yard games, along with a built in table, chairs, charcoal grill, private shower, and items to take to the beach. 🏖️ There are several flights of stairs throughout, however, we enjoy burning the extra calories consumed while on vacay!😉 This house is a great place to celebrate a special occasion with family and friends! The house is a quick drive from restaurants and other activities. Rudy has thought of everything you might need and made sure we had everything needed for our stay. You will definitely enjoy The Ocean Aire!

Not enough can be said for this location! If you love the sound of the waves crashing on the riprap, with a constant salty breeze in your face...then this is the place for you. Sitting on that deck at night is magical indeed! Waking up to the ocean as the first thing you see is pure bliss!

The house is gorgeous and it has the most amazing views. Sunrise from the master bedroom windows was the highlight of each morning. The owners were helpful and very responsive - we had one or two small issues at checkin that they handled immediately. We loved the closet of board games! The area is quiet and there is only one grocery store but it had everything we needed. We didn’t go to any local restaurants. A few things to consider: the listing says 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. This is true but one bedroom and bathroom is in an apartment downstairs so it wouldn’t be good for kids. It is a longer walk than it appears to the beach. It was fine for me and the kids but would’ve been way too far for someone with mobility challenges. The kitchen wasn’t as stocked as I had hoped (no real glass wine glasses, only plastic, not a lot of silverware, short supply of spatulas etc). Finally, there were no amenities for the beach, no buckets or shovels, no beach towels, so pack your own.

Host was very responsive and helpful. Up front about issue with clothes dryer and oven. Techs sent during stay to attempt to make repairs. Oven repaired but part had to be ordered for dryer. Bob sent local property management representative Rafael to help with getting windows open the evening of our arrival. Rafael was very friendly, professional, responsive and helpful. Home had some exterior issues from recent hurricane and needs some repair. Property / Home was clean, decorated and accommodating for pets. I communicated with host Bob via email / app. and text. He was very friendly and responsive. It was a pleasure communicating with him. I would stay at the properties of this host again.

Beautiful space, very nice to hang out with the friends. I saw previous reviews saying the fridge was small, but they must of changed, because it's a full sized fridge with a mini fridge upstairs. Hà was easy to communicate with and helpful. The bbq was charcoal not gas. Rooms were nice, kitchen had plenty of items and a lot of fun random DVDs. The beach is easily accessible, and it was a pleasure to sit on the deck. Nice views
