Hotel vacation rentals in Frisia

I have stayed at a lot of airbnbs, but none have come close to this one! Fred and Kelly run an absolute beauty of an airbnb, the place is exactly as described, clean and tidy and the hosts have thought of every little thing you may need. They have equipped the room fully and are thoughtful enough to even include small items like cuticle scissors, nail files, tampons, bathrobes etc. that really make a huge difference to the comfort level of the stay and the convenience. They even provided instructions/suggestions for travel and things to see in the area and are extremely proactive with updating the guests about any issues or disruptions with public transport and even provided alternative route suggestions. I look forward to staying with Fred and Kelly on my next visit, they were so kind and welcoming. Highly recommended stay!

Kenneth was a great host - very friendly and pro active with communication. We chose to stay in Zaandam to escape the noise of Amsterdam and Kenneth's place was great for this. Nice quiet neighbourhood and the other guests and Kevin were quiet to so we slept well. The room was spacious, bed comfortable, nice shower and had tea and coffee making facilities, small fridge and microwave so could do a bit of self catering. It's also easy access to the train station which we used to visit Zaanse Schanse, Amsterdam and going to/from airport. The video Kenneth provided to go from train station to his place was awesome 👍 There are plenty of restaurants, shops and cafes in Zaandam and we felt very safe. We would definitely recommend staying at Kenneth's place - thanks again for your hospitality.

There were three of us staying with our little one for one night in the Old Pastorate. We had been looking forward to this overnight stay for weeks and yet our expectations were exceeded. A great room, super easy to reach from the train station, friendly communication, what else could you ask for? We will be happy to come back and even consider making a detour to Barmstedt especially for this accommodation in the future.

Nice apartment on the ground floor of a multi-part cottage. As a couple with 2 adult children we felt very comfortable. Each had their own room and there are 2 full bathrooms. The terrace invites you to a stay and a shared meal. You are right on the edge of the village and can enjoy the tranquility of the island.

Great spot, walking distance to all the attractions and restaurants. Davide was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay!

I really enjoyed staying in one of the cubes. They are shipping containers decorated and equipped to a really high standard. Heater/air con, underfloor heating, comfy bed, warm shower, well equipped kitchen and plenty of space to sit or to dine. Art work created by Phillip’s wife on the walls. A few of these cubes collected around an outdoor swimming pool. Plenty of privacy but also a chance to be sociable if you want. Very close to the river and a great restaurant (Hamdan’s). Peaceful and in the countryside, but close to Bremen. Saw the northern lights on my visit! Phillip is a really good host - responsive, friendly, helpful. He and his wife live on site. They do a really tasty high quality continental breakfast too if you want. Highly recommended place to stay - quirky, fun and really comfortable

Super central, sparkling clean, quiet location. Swimming pool and sauna are really nicely maintained. The hotel room is very quiet and has comfortable beds so we had a very pleasant stay.

Upon our arrival, we didn't know what our place was and how we would get in there, we called and he came out right away, showed us the place, was very kind. The accommodation was also very nicely developed, you have everything you need. Gladly come back

Wonderful place and nicely decorated!

I was blown away with how great this place was. The hotel was modern, clean and friendly. The rooms were unique and made for a very comfortable stay for the 4 of us. The restaurant was very good and had a beautiful outside sitting area. My kids could run and play without disturbing others. There’s a beautiful creek that runs by that people canoe and paddle board through. Absolutely stunning.

I stayed here for 1 night in early March so it was a bit cold to use the pool but the area was really beautiful and there’s a little river about 200 meters away and a beer garden. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and answered any questions we had. I would recommend this place in the summer to enjoy the sun and the pool and the river near by.

Great place in a smaller village

My first time in Wilhelmshaven. The bus connection was not mine at all:( The location of Jelena's room is actually not that far from the city but it would be much easier to stay there if you at least have a bike. Of course, Jelena can't help but it's really just advice for someone who wants to go to WHV. Everything from Jelena and next time I'll take my bike with me:) Thank you so much!

More than we expected with stylish communal areas and good food/coffee. Absolutely recommendable!

Ella is a wonderful person and a fantastic host. The room is not only beautiful and cozy, but also offers great views of the countryside – a perfect place to relax. I felt very comfortable and at home from the beginning. The accommodation is particularly recommended for those who are cycling, because there is a great bike path nearby. I highly recommend staying with Ella and would love to come back!

We had a great time at Mieke's place. With the free ferry to the center, the location is a great starting point for exploring the city but also the surrounding area. We will be happy to come back!
