Villa vacation rentals in Fox River

Wow! This was a wonderful place for my family and me while we were in the area for Tough Mudder. Everything was set up so nicely for us with helpful instructions, recommendations, treats, games and toiletries if we needed them! This home is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood and plenty of space for everyone. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

Everything was good. Good place and neighborhood. But I love cooking and the stove was a little bit too small for me.

The Merry Mansion was perfect for our family; we had several people staying, but were able to host some additional local family members for meals - a huge kitchen provided plenty of space for meal preparation and the two dining rooms provided more than ample space for enjoying our home-cooked meals together. The decor is lovely and there was plenty of space for privacy in bedrooms or socializing in the two living rooms. It is conveniently located to both Dubuque and Galena and walkable to establishments in East Dubuque. Corey was wonderful, a proactive communicator and very responsive to questions; he was available at check-in to provide a very helpful tour of the mansion, as well. We will be back again for another Christmas celebration!

beautiful historic home close to downtown. my sister and I were able to walk home from the bars! located on the bluff with a beautiful view, but not a good location for people with mobility issues.

Clean, spacious, and cozy townhome with well stocked amenities. Felt like home! Very close to Starved Rock State Park with a trail head practically across the street. I would recommend this place to friends and family as a great place to stay when visiting Utica, Ottawa, or LaSalle.

My cousins and I do an annual get away weekend every year and we were looking for the perfect spot and Abey’s place was it!! We had such a wonderful time! Her responsiveness to any text I sent was responded to immediately. She gifted us a welcoming champagne and even offered an entire dinner on her! We were incredibly happy with our stay, and the place is beautiful!! The layout is so unique and the backyard is like a dream! I am so incredibly thankful for Abey and for making our cousins get away weekend one to remember. We definitely will be back! If you need a perfect stay, no need to look any further Abey’s place is the one!

Truly a gem near Lake Geneva. Plamena’s place was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to host our families. It was our first time vacationing again after having babies earlier this year and our toddler had a blast. She won’t stop talking about “her toys” at the airbnb. Plamena’s place is also a 5 minute drive to downtown Lake Geneva which was very convenient. Our overall experience was great, Plamena is an amazing host and we look forward to staying with her again in the near future.

Absolutely a beautiful home. The house has amazing art work. Loved the fact that each room has there on balcony space. Having a mini fridge and a microwave in each room was a bonus. Beds were extremely comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked with food seasonings and cooking equipment. The house has a gate that wraps around it and can be locked which makes you feel more secure during your stay including having access to the live camera footage on your tv. Had a great time celebrating my birthday here with my group of friends/ family with no disturbances. Left a pair of my Jordan sneakers there after checking out and the host was very gracious to allow me to come back and pick them up the next day. Rate this house a 10/10. Definitely recommend!! Plan on staying again soon

We stayed here for a Wisconsin Badgers football game, and I highly recommend it! Otto was extremely communicative and even allowed us an early check-in and flexible check-out.

Out of all the places I have stayed across the United States this house stands out the most it’s in a very good area slow and relaxing and beautiful in the summer and in the fall cozy small town vibes

We had a great family experience at Grand Geneva Resort.

We are a group of high school classmates that are either retired or near retirement. We get together at least one time a year. This was our first outing at an Airbnb and it was absolutely fabulous. The home is gorgeous. Jolene was awesome to work with and checked in on us regularly. We would definitely go back. Nothing better than recharging in the country. Every room was decorated with primitives and antiques. All appliances and electronics were new and clean. The walk in showers were very roomy and the water was hot. The bedrooms were quiet and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely love to go back DHS Gal Pals of 1978

It’s a very nice and unique stay. The whole family enjoyed their time, so many activities to keep everyone occupied. The home has plenty of room so everyone had enough space to spend together and to eventually branch apart in small groups all over the house, it seems all families seem to do at some point, especially when you have teenagers. I also enjoyed how private the location was. I would recommend this place to anyone and may stay here again if given the chance.

Great stay and location!

The Airbnb was lovely. Plenty of space for a group of nine people. It was close to downtown Lake Geneva yet we enjoyed how secluded the home was. Everything in the house was pristine and Tania was a proactive communicator and great host. Would recommend.

It is my 20th time being in Galena and 3rd time staying. I thank the company and owners for allowing me to stay at their home, they were quick to help and answer my questions. Myself and my guest enjoy the territory and all the amenities. Very wonderful and I would stay again in the future.

Great place, would stay again for sure. The location is nice- quiet and private and about a 12-minute drive from downtown Galena. It was clean and cozy, the beds were comfy and host communication was timely and clear. Check out to do list was very reasonable and simple. There’s a working wood fireplace and plenty of wood for guest use which is such a nice bonus and walking trails are close and accessible. We didn’t have time to check out the clubhouse facilities but instructions and access seemed easy and straightforward.

This home was perfect! The home itself was so so clean, a perfect set up, fully stocked kitchen. We loved that each of our groups had their own bathroom and king size bed. Dana was very responsive, helpful, and kind. Close to all things Galena and Dubuque. Would definitely stay here again!

So much larger than expected and the beds were comfortable!

Great condo that was in a beautiful setting. We went in the Fall and the property was very quiet. We saw turkeys and deer and enjoyed the view of the lake from the condo. Mars restaurant was a short walk away which was also nice.

We were very fortunate to book Wendi’s condo just a couple weeks prior to our trip. We wanted to celebrate a friend’s birthday away from Chicago and chose Lake Geneva for the proximity. We found Wendi’s condo to be a perfect combination of location, space, and amenities. Being just a 10-minute drive to Lake Geneva’s downtown allowed us to explore/eat and be back in time to enjoy the sunset and relax. There are Uber drivers around the area so none of us had to draw straws to be the DD. Keep in mind the entire complex becomes very quiet in the evening – this could have been due to us arriving the weekend after July 4th. Luckily, we came up here to relax but if you are arriving with a loud group you may upset the older neighbors. While we didn’t get a chance to use the pool or tennis courts, we did visit The Ridge hotel for its fantastic coffee shop and restaurant. Overall, we had a great time, felt comfortable and got exactly what we came up here for. Thanks Wendi!
