Monthly Rentals in Fougerolles

We had a wonderful stay at Annie’s place with our group of 4 adults and 3 kids. The house is well-equipped, and the large garden was a hit with the kids, featuring a pétanque track, ping pong table, and plenty of play areas. The pool was also a great addition! We enjoyed the extra peace and quiet, as the vacation house next door was unoccupied during our stay. One thing to note is that the walls are quite thin, so sounds do travel within the house, but this didn’t bother us much. The region itself is absolutely lovely—remote, serene, and perfect for disconnecting. The nights are magical; we were treated to stunning views of the stars and even caught a glimpse of the Milky Way. Annie and her husband were incredibly welcoming, offering great tips on nearby activities. We highly recommend visiting the Haute-Touche zoological reserve, exploring the local markets, and cooking up some fresh meals with vegetables that Annie and her husband might generously share. We would love to return!

Rental made as part of a business trip. The house is very pleasant with absolute calm. It is very well equipped with everything available in quantity which is very rare on Airbnb. We are in the middle of the woods while being a 5-minute drive from the center of La Châtre and all the useful shops. When you get home at night, you can meet fawns on the road to the house. A private gate then leads to a very large inner courtyard where you can park near the entrance to the house. Micheline is a friendly, accommodating and responsive owner who is committed to making sure everything goes smoothly. Recommended. Thanks Micheline!
