Vacation rentals in Fort Rupert

We had a lovely early September weekend stay at Svetlana & Kenneth´s place. Perfect spot to be tugged away from the business of the world: relax & ground under the beautiful big trees and tune into the everchanging ocean views. Rita’s cabin was charming: it was rustic but cozy & comfortable, and it smelled like cedar 😊. We enjoyed lighting the fireplace in the evenings after being outdoors all day. We also used the sauna (and had a few dips in the ocean) a great way to relax! Overall, the buildings and grounds were tidy, clean, and well cared for. Svetlana & Kenneth were friendly, easy to approach, and helpful hosts. We would come back again.

Great place with a beautiful view. Inside was clean and had all the amenities. Right on the water and secluded in the forest away from noise! One of my favorite Airbnbs I’ve stayed at so far. Lorrene provided clear instructions on how to find the place along with local recommendations which made my stay easier. Will definitely stay here again if I come back next year!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Morgan’s place. We loved the view of the ocean from the deck and living room. We explored the area during the day and enjoyed coming back to cook our dinners at the Airbnb. Morgan supplied everything we needed!

This place was homey, cozy, and roomy. It was well decorated with thoughtful pieces. Everything was either functional or beautifully decorated. This place is just perfect for our needs.

Enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay here which felt very cozy. Hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and responsive - could not ask for better. Made good use of the BBQ on the decking which has great views. Would recommend as a very good base to explore the North Island.

We enjoyed our stay in Casey’s cabin very much and wish we had a couple more days in the area. The place was clean and has everything one needs. The location is great and quiet. Casey and Muriel even provided plenty of breakfast items and freshly picked berries which we appreciated a lot. We also saw orcas right from the deck.

Ruth's home was lovely to stay at! It felt very homey and clean. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. All the decor was nice and was interesting to look at. The covered deck with the view of the water was great too. Ruth was responsive to messages and let us rent her kayaks as well as lending us some fishing equipment and giving us some tips on good spots to fish and paddle. We loved our time in Port Alice and staying here was a big part of that.

Exemplary accommodation with breathtaking views and a kind and responsive host, always quick to respond to queries. Take yourself to Alert Bay and experience this lovely place when you can! Steps from whale watching tour - and the grizzly bear trips will collect you here too. You don’t really need a car and the ferry is easy. Loved this place and would love to return with my extended family - thank you, John 🙏
