Mimosa Apartment - Poggio al Vento

Roberto's place was exactly as described. We were warmly welcomed by his lovely mother and Roberto made us right at home taking the time to get to know us. The additional breakfast was a great way to start the day and explore Tuscany with some of Robertos suggestions. 5-stars & highly reccomend. We would dearly love to come back one day.

La Casetta di Brunello, very panoramic with terrace

What a great way for us to start our week out in the Tucson region. The local places to eat, the people in the neighborhood and the sunrise over the hills in the morning with the birds flying was more than I could have hoped for. It was a perfect spot and we would definitely come back again.

CasaROSA Brunello vineyards

This place is a paradise nestled in the Tuscan countryside. It offers splendid views at any time of the day or night, among vineyards illuminated from dawn to dusk and a wonderful starry sky. The apartment is spacious, bright and impeccable. Mrs. Roberta, who welcomed us, was super nice and helpful. We will definitely be back at other times of the year! Highly recommended!!!

Ermione

Denise's place in Castiglione d'Orcia was like staying in a fairy tale. The 7th century fortress/castle behind her place was the back wall of the terrace. And the views looking east overlooked all that one would think of when you think of Tuscany. Every morning I got up and took pictures of the amazing sunrise over the rolling green hills with rows of silver cypress lining dirt roads. Her place is at the top of the hill, right in the middle of the medieval village. You could meander through the medieval pathways imagining you are in a time gone by. It did help keep us in shape staying here because there are a lot of steep uphill walks and lots of stairs, though it is possible to bypass most of them, taking the longer route down to the main piazza. The furnishings also were comfortable and nice, yet period appropriate. Staying here is like living in a history book!
