Cottage vacation rentals in Fejér

We (an international family of five) have spent a great week at this house, and we loved it! We appreciated the space, inside and outside, the amenities, how well-thought through everything was, how clean, the excellent kitchen, all the TVs (important for watching the Paris 2024 Olympic Games), as well as outdoor sitting, jacuzzi and the ping-pong table. The hosts were kind to allow an early check-in and very helpful with bike rental and instructions/recommendations. Balatonkenese has everything one needs for a holiday, including shops, little markets, pharmacy, bakeries, a few restaraurants (we recommend Porc) and both a free and an equipped beach within a short walking distance. As we did not have a car, proximity to a railway station was important too. All in all, we absolutely and unreservedly recommend this listing and would love to come back for a longer stay. Lovely little traditional cottage in a huge garden at the entrance of the forest. The cottage is situated at the end of a gravel road, it is super cute with reminders of traditional country life in Hungary. However there is a large bathroom with a bathtub and a showertray and the kitchen is fully serviced as well. You enter the cottage into the kitchen diner, that has a large Hungarian style dutch oven and a long, wooden table in it for friendly chats during long winter nights. The two bedrooms are opening from either side of the diner. The cottage has 60cm thick walls, lovely little windows and it felt very cosy on a cool, autumn evening. There is a very interesting pond/pool at the side in the garden, fed by a spring possibly and maybe used to breed trout formerly. There is also a hot tub in the garden. Unfortunately I stayed only one night, but would love to explore the garden, the house and the surroundings. There is a large parking lot, an outside pizza oven, bbq area as well

We had a great time! Everything was perfect, we will definitely be back.

Stijn's cottage is ideally placed between Lake Balaton and Budapest and it's close to the city and many amenities. Stijn is a very attentive and proactive host, which made our stay even better.

We traveled with a two-year-old girl and two dogs. We had a great time. The house is very cozy, well equipped, everything, but it really has EVERYTHING. :) Completely baby, dog and adult friend. The walls are thick, and the night storm couldn't be heard in the house. Although the house is in the village, the garden is completely enclosed, the vegetation covers the neighboring houses. Our favorite thing to do on the terrace was punching. We'll be sure to come back!

Me and my bf stayed there during the Sziget festival, and it was the best decision! The location is a bit away from the center (around 20 minutes car drive), but we really enjoyed the nature and the quiet after spending time at the festival. Very clean cute house, good for 1-2 people, the garden is also very lovely. You can feel that the host has put a lot of thought into the space, so it would feel warm and welcoming :) There is also parking available inside the gated area. Amazing host, who answered all our questions quickly, was very kind and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again!

Good accommodation for our training camp

If you are looking for a place in a quiet corner, between Vezsprem and Balatan Lake, this is the perfect place. The mobile home is well equipped, everything is available, just bring your suitcases, and shop if you want to cook. I only stayed 3 days because I'm back on my roadtrip, but I would see myself staying longer especially when it's warmer, to enjoy the outdoors and the lake.
