Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Falls Lake

Micheline and her co-hosts were incredibly communicative which we appreciated. The home is very spacious, modern, clean, and the rooms were cozy. We were traveling with 3 teenage boys plus ourselves, and appreciated the layout of the home for extra quietness.

We stayed at Anni's place for just over 2 weeks waiting for our home we purchased to close. Anni and her husband were amazing hosts. Very accommodating and responded to messages right away. Space was very clean and a nice open concept living room, dining room and kitchen area. Loved having the wood stove going in the evening while relaxing in the living room. Would highly recommend for a short or extended stay.

Had a great stay at Owl and Otter this past weekend. Host was even kind enough and offered for us to arrive a bit early. We didn’t realize the studio/basement had a separate entrance and couldn’t be accessed from inside, but this wasn’t a huge deal. Host was responsive when we needed additional gravel in the morning as there was a lot of ice down and our cars were stuck on the hill. Would love to stay again.

Kelly and Doris are incredibly friendly and quick to respond. Our stay was a last minute booking. Both kelly and Doris helped us feel right at home. The property is an Oasis. It has everything your family will need. The pictures do not do it justice. The quiet peacefulness you feel well sitting by the lake is everything you want and need. We will be coming back!

We had a fabulous 2 week vacation at the Blue Heron guest house in Tantallon. We wished it could of been longer! Great hosts, very helpful and accommodating. Spectacular views especially loved watching the seals. Would 100% recommend!!

Fantastic stay in a gorgeous cottage during the absolute worst weather all winter. We were snug and cosy, though. Can’t thank you enough for the spotless surroundings and very responsive communication. I’ve already recommended it to someone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mary's place. It had everything we needed, including a nice big kitchen with a lovely view; it felt like I was cooking in a treehouse :-) Mary was very easy to communicate with. We would be happy to stay here again.

Zack and Yifei are great hosts! We chose their location for proximity to family we were visiting nearby. It’s definitely convenient if visiting the Bedford area. They have excellent taste and we appreciated the thoughtful decor touches and the clean, comfortable space. It’s a great space if you’re travelling with kids and our toddler loved his “special bed.” They were highly responsive, acting immediately to salt the driveway when we arrived and it was slippery from the night before. We only had a few issues, namely a bad wifi connection and the inability to access data from our phones inside due to poor LTE connection in the area. Zack was responsive in offering to help and, although we didn’t get it sorted, we appreciated their responsiveness regardless. The only other issue was that we did hear a fair amount of noise from upstairs on our first evening, but it didn’t appear to be an issue at any other time.

Was a wonderful stay! Everything was exactly as described. The location is perfect for exploring the city.

Kevin and Alanna's place was absolutely beautiful it was a cozy spot to stay very close to the city and local stores it had everything you needed to feel right at home

We always feel at home in Angela’s flat. Can’t think of a thing that has ever been lacking to make our visit completely comfortable. We love the neighbourhood which is remarkably quiet, especially considering how close it is to restaurants, public transit and downtown. Looking forward to our next stay!

We had a great vacation at this airbnb. The place was very clean and private, and the hot tub worked great. We had an infant with us, and they prepared a pac and play and bath equipment for our daughter. This place was also dog friendly, good parks to walk the dog. Good location, close to downtown Halifax also the bridge. Byron was very helpful and easy to talk to, very responsive. We will use this airbnb again!

She is probably the kindest Airbnb host, and I use Airbnb at least once a month for the last year and a half. I asked if I could check out later- she had no issues (obviously I was taking a chance because others could’ve been booked in) she even offered early check in. She’s very friendly and sweet. This review is about her lol. The place looks like the pics and like she described very spacious and just cozy.

This Air B and B was excellent location to downtown Dartmouth. Tiffany is extremely quick to respond and is flexible with check in. Clear cut instructions for checking in and out. The price was extremely affordable for how many people the place accommodates. Tiffany made for an excellent stay in Dartmouth!!

Val was an amazing & kind host ! Very accommodating, responsive and helpful! The place was perfect for a quiet weekend & it was even cozier in person! Would visit again .

Great for a family with the 3 bedrooms. Great location-walked to get supper instead of driving the icy roads. Easy to warm up on a stormy weekend with options for entertainment. Did not see dishwasher as listed, but lots of bonus supplies in the kitchen.

Elissa was a great host and made me feel welcome immediately. The place is beautifully done and a nice peaceful ambiance to spend a night. Wrinkles also gives Elissa a five star rating. He was welcomed with bowls for food and water and offered a coZy bed to sleep in!

We loved Jeanne’s condo. It was very comfortable and in a great location. Could walk around the little town of Mahone Bay, or enjoy the view from the balcony.

Angela’s place was exactly as described and perfect for visiting Halifax. She was always keeping me updated and was very flexible with meeting to pass me the keys and provided final tips for a great stay. The place was meticulously clean and well appointed. The location is more than ideal if you are looking for great shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommended this place. Thank you Angela!

Jeff’s penthouse apartment is stunning! The photos are 100% accurate. If anything, the ceilings seem even higher in real life! Everything was perfect and pristine, very well cared for. And the view was fantastic! The remote controlled blinds in every room were a nice surprise! I loved that all I had to do was hit a button from the bed in the morning and the blinds would raise, and the sun would flood the room. Instructions were very clear, so everything was easy - parking upon arriving, getting in/out of the garage, finding the key fob, etc. Adjusting the temperature inside the apartment was easy to understand. The beds were so comfortable, and I LOVED the duvet in the primary bedroom so much that I want the same one for my own home! Definitely stay here if you’re looking for a great view, great amenities, and high end finishings.

This is a great place to stay! Easy check in, beautiful unit, with great views of Halifax. Especially during sunrise and sunset. Pictures are accurate, in fact they don’t do justice to the beautiful space. Would definitely love to stay again!

Very clean, spacious and convenient condo in central Halifax, close to downtown and Dalhousie. Easy check-in, and all the amenities needed to make our stay comfortable, and the host responds quickly if you have questions or need anything. Highly recommended.
