Monthly Rentals in El Yunque

We stayed 4 nights at Migdalia’s and Jimmy’s house and absolutely loved our time there! They are both extremely kind and caring people and they made us feel right at home. They also helped arrange transport and tours. Thanks to Migdalia, we met Steve, a great guide who took us on many amazing day trips (Yumuri-Yunque -Humbolt) The room is spacious, the beds are comfortable and the view from the terrasse is great! We particularly enjoyed lounging on the rooftop. Migdalia is a wonderful cook, she even made me chicken soup when I was sick. We recommend staying here and visiting Baracoa!

At a time of extraordinary hardship in Cuba, Carlos made us feel at home. The accommodations are rustic, but impeccable - the basics all functional and the casa a perfect fit for the environment. The nearby white sand beaches, all within walking distance, are beautiful, the parks around Baracoa spectacular, remote and wild. But what really stands out is Carlos and his family. He went out of his way every day to sit and talk with us at breakfast and dinner, answer our questions, help plan our adventures, even catch baby pigs and chicks for the kids. Fish fresh-caught by Carlos were on the menu every night and on our last day, he and his boys prepared us a roast pig on a spit over a wood fire. An experience we’ll never forget. Thank you to Carlos and family.

We had a lovely time in Casa Toa. The place is beautiful and the People very friendly, the all took very good care of us and gave us good tips for activities and walks. we really recommend staying there.
