The cottage is very comfortable and clean and is well stocked with everything you need. The huge trees in the yard provided welcoming shade. The neighborhood is quiet and close to amenities like shops and restaurants. Annatjie is a star host, warm and friendly and very welcoming. She was always quick to respond to any questions and very helpful with suggestions. I would highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Durban.

It was fantastic to spend a few days on vacation with my family at Sharon's house. Sharon's husband, Mr Ronnie, was 100% present to provide all types of assistance and solutions for whatever was needed. Many thanks to the couple Sharon and Ronnie. Special thanks also to Mrs. Happy, who takes care of the house. She is very attentive and friendly. I would recommend that the other two bedrooms be equipped with air conditioning units because in the summer, Durban is quite hot and humid. Even fans could help a person have a more pleasant sleep. Thank you so much Sharon, Ronnie and Happy. We made a family, for sure. God bless you all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, location is fantastic lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The view is unbelievable. The house is beautiful and spacious, with helpful and friendly staff. I would recommend this house for anyone wanting to enjoy a nice family holiday.

Great place in walking distance to beach... We only stayed a few nights, while our home in Durban got fumigated, but will recommend the place to friends and family who visit Durban ;-) I especially liked that it was spacious and dog friendly with a big balcony

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The sea views are absolutely breathtaking, making it the perfect spot for relaxation. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, equipped with everything we needed. The patio area was the highlight—spacious, comfortable, and ideal for dining or simply lounging while soaking in the scenery. It truly felt like a home away from home. The only downside was the bright lights from the passageway shining into two of the bedrooms at night, blackout blinds could assist. There was also an unfixed ceiling in the dining room that must be attended to. Also, additional lounge seating should be provided for the patio to fit 6 people. Overall, we had an amazing experience cooking, eating, and unwinding here. We already miss the incredible sea view and hope to return sometime.

Being hosted by Warren and Letitia was an absolute pleasure. From the onset of making the booking, the prompt responses and friendliness was exceptional. The professional articulation of the entire check-in process made checking into the accommodation seamless and easy. The apartment was exactly as per advertised, neat and cleaned. Bryan & Tash are a really amazing friendly couple. Their property is feels like you just escaped to your own private getaway, the interior is cozy with all the amenities you could need. The location is so convenient its close to the beach 5 min away from galleria and have top notch security. I felt like i could leave my troubles at the door and know I am looked after by my host. If you're looking for value for your money this is the place.

We stayed as a family of 3 for three weeks. It was really everything we wanted. Lovely space, great views, perfect location that’s easy to get to promenade and restaurants nearby whilst still also being peaceful and serene for relaxation. In the Durban heat and humidity, we could also take full advantage of the pool most days which was great for our toddler daughter. Travis was very attentive and responsive when we had any questions, it was much appreciated. When we’re back in Durban, we hope again to have a long stay there as it felt like home and we were sad to leave.

My family and I had the most splendid time in Bronwyn's well-appointed, spacious quayside apartment bosting magnificent views of the Durban coastline from every room and it's generous balcony, which are even better than the photos. Swimming and surfing beaches are just a few steps away. The area is amazingly quiet at night except for the soft whisper of the waves as they hit the shoreline, inducing the best sleep you're likely to have anywhere. Bronwyn and Mike are exceptional hosts and I do plan to return again soon.

We had a fantastic stay at Louise's place! The apartment was incredibly clean, well-located, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Louise and Phumi went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. Highly recommend staying here!

We cannot recommend Jessica’s Airbnb enough and will look to stay there again the next time that we are in Durban. It is located directly on the promenade and a short walk from all of the key Umhlanga spots, in addition to being clean and well-decorated. Jessica herself was a great and responsive host.

We had a great stay here for a couple of days over my birthday. The location is excellent—close to everything you need. The place was spotless, tidy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The only downside is that there’s only a bath, which isn’t ideal in the summer humidity, but the aircon made a huge difference. Entry was seamless, and the host provided clear, detailed instructions for everything we needed. Thanks for having us! 10/10 recommend.
