Vacation rentals with beach access in Durban Point

I don't know where to begin - views from every window, be it the sea or the beautiful city. A plethora of eateries for every palette, from high end restaurants to quick takeaway options. Shopping convenience from grocery stores to standard retail. All of this in walking distance. An example is popping out for sunscreen at Dischem, from out your door to back is literally 8 mins. And to top it all access to all the normal hotel amenities, such as room service which you can pay for on delivery. We did last minute champagne and a cheese platter 10pm at night overlooking the gorgeous city lights and the ocean. And let's not forget the slightly heated pool making a cool down plunge without having worry about icy water such a comfort. Spoils in abundance! The whole Pearls experience combined with the vibe of Umhlanga is the closest you'll ever get to Miani on an African coastline. Thank you Keith and Magesh for the breathtaking experience. It was simply unforgettable!

Wooow, I thank God I found her place. She's Soo kind I tell you.. the place is extremely safe and clean.. it's closer to the beach and the views are breathtaking... we are definitely going back.. I found a home in Durban... since we were busy with my nephew's and nieces university residents... she gave us one free night .. please book and you will not regret.... Her communication skills are top tier and very understanding.. thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Being hosted by Warren and Letitia was an absolute pleasure. From the onset of making the booking, the prompt responses and friendliness was exceptional. The professional articulation of the entire check-in process made checking into the accommodation seamless and easy. The apartment was exactly as per advertised, neat and cleaned. great location, clean and well serviced, very secure with boom gate security and entrance staff. there are some items that need maintenance in the apartment, like ligh bulbs, light switches etc.. but didn't impact us much. recomend it for an Umhlanga stay.

Fezeka’s place was great. It looked like the pictures. It was very clean.Everything worked. It was very peaceful. We would go back.

Beautiful House at a beautiful Location, the house was always clean as the house keeper was there every day, immaculate views overlooking the beach in each bedroom and shop and restaurants were available in walking distance. Perfect description of a Beach house.

Great place in walking distance to beach... We only stayed a few nights, while our home in Durban got fumigated, but will recommend the place to friends and family who visit Durban ;-) I especially liked that it was spacious and dog friendly with a big balcony

My stay at Lulu’s Guest House was truly delightful. Her son went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, always ready to assist with a friendly demeanor. Traveling with my ailing father, I deeply appreciated the compassion and flexibility they extended to accommodate his needs. The genuine care and attention provided made our experience exceptionally comfortable and memorable.

The apartment is bigger than you can see at photos. 2. Everything is absolutely amazing: kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, lounge. 3. You have your own balcony, can drink coffee, observe the river and the ocean. 4. Every time if you will need anything, you will get it immediately. The hosts are very kind people, and always here for you, always ready to help and support. 5. Apartment is fully equipped, you will get everything and even more. Its cozy and very light. Nelisiwe, Sbu, still can't believe that I was so lucky to meet you! I wish you and your family all the best, as you totally deserve it. We loved this home. Such a spectacular positioning and proximity to the beach. Beautifully furnished rooms and so graciously and thoughtfully hosted by Donna and Tim. The home catered for all our needs and where anything additional was required, both Donna and Tim went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Our best experience with an Air BnB home to date!

This apartment is perfectly situated to all the facilities in the area and it is very safe. It is very well kept and extremely spacious. Security is great in the building

My family and I had the most splendid time in Bronwyn's well-appointed, spacious quayside apartment bosting magnificent views of the Durban coastline from every room and it's generous balcony, which are even better than the photos. Swimming and surfing beaches are just a few steps away. The area is amazingly quiet at night except for the soft whisper of the waves as they hit the shoreline, inducing the best sleep you're likely to have anywhere. Bronwyn and Mike are exceptional hosts and I do plan to return again soon.

I had the pleasure of staying in this stunning apartment on the quieter side of Umhlanga, which exceeded all my expectations! The apartment is beautifully decorated, cosy, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing getaway. But what made my stay special was the hospitality from Jono and Cathy - they surprised me with a lovely bottle red of wine, which was such a thoughtful touch! The pool area was fantastic, and the entire complex was ideally suited for those seeking a peaceful, private retreat. The location is also super convenient, with a delicious café downstairs serving the best Chai latte, and a Checkers grocery store just steps away. If I have one regret, it's that I didn't make it to the nearby casino - but that's definitely on my agenda for next time! Overall, I highly recommend this apartment to anyone seeking a serene and comfortable stay in Umhlanga. Thank you, Jono and Cathy, for an unforgettable experience!

Nostalgia! I have been to the North and the South for many years but totally avoided Durban, however this trip, We were shocked, the Apartment and Host were superb, the surroundings and the view of the beach is nothing short of WOW, evening strolls, the Pier, Ice Cream...this is what I remember a holiday to be!

We cannot recommend Jessica’s Airbnb enough and will look to stay there again the next time that we are in Durban. It is located directly on the promenade and a short walk from all of the key Umhlanga spots, in addition to being clean and well-decorated. Jessica herself was a great and responsive host.

We had a great stay here for a couple of days over my birthday. The location is excellent—close to everything you need. The place was spotless, tidy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The only downside is that there’s only a bath, which isn’t ideal in the summer humidity, but the aircon made a huge difference. Entry was seamless, and the host provided clear, detailed instructions for everything we needed. Thanks for having us! 10/10 recommend.
