Our stay at the cabin on the private lakefront property was nothing short of amazing! The view of the lake, especially during sunset, was absolutely breathtaking. The property had everything we needed for a perfect getaway—lots of amenities, including provided firewood and fire starters, which made evenings by the fire so enjoyable. There were plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy right on the premises, making it the ideal spot for relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting!

We stayed for about a week, and it was great. I couldn’t believe how clean everything was. The location feels right at home in the UP. It was very cozy, and offered modern amenities while still maintaining the comfort of being in the woods. It was easy to find and easy to access. We very much enjoyed our stay in the winter, and plan on staying again the summer!

James was very attentive, always easy to reach, and receptive to any suggestions we had. The property itself was a beautifully secluded haven, perfect for recharging and finding peace. The surrounding landscape is nothing short of a potpourri of natural wonders, offering an immersive experience in areas beauty. We enjoyed every moment there and are most definitely interested in making a return trip during swimming season.

We found the cottage very welcoming and warm. The home is beautifully decorated and all amenities are new. The space is very kid friendly. Overall, the cottage was spotless and all of the rooms were comfortable. This home exceeded our expectations! We can’t wait to stay another time.

We stayed at Pond #8 which was a short drive from the main resort. We didn’t use any of the resort amenities because we enjoyed our cabin so much! The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s the perfect wilderness getaway. The staff at check in/out were very friendly. We will definitely be coming back and staying longer.

This is my second stay at Don's family camp, and I'll continue to book here when it's available. Don is one of the most responsive hosts I've know, and I've stayed in over 30 Airbnb's. If you're looking for something remote, but still have basic amenities plus a couple extra perks like a sauna and outdoor fire pit ... this is the place. If phone and internet service are critical, you might want to look south of the Mackinac Bridge. For my needs, I hope Don and his family continue to share their camp.

A beautiful spot with friendly farm dogs that come to visit! It was so nice to hear the sounds of nature going to sleep and awakening. Definitely a place to become one with nature again.

This was by far the best stocked Airbnb that we've ever stayed at! They thought of everything - beach towels, extra fans in every room, a charcoal grill, smores skewers, and even a waffle maker! The house was clean and had some character - we loved the look of the built in high tabletop and plenty of river themed decor. For those who are picky about your drinking water, it seemed to be well water, so we ended up buying a lot of water jugs. Great location for a 'get away from it all cabin'. It was close enough to Sault Ste Marie and Mackinac Island to make day trips to those spots, yet far enough away from the city life that ship watching was the exciting part of the day and star gazing quality was fantastic - we even saw several meteors (granted we stayed during Perseids Meteor showers peak). Our hosts made some fantastic restaurant recommendations for us while we stayed. We wished we could've done more of the activities they suggested, but some were too far for our kiddos.

Erin is fantastic! She is very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. House was great! Plenty of space and nicely located near Soo-related activities. From a strictly human perspective, everything was perfect! For humans with dogs, it’s a bit tough to not have a backyard to tie them out and to navigate the winter weather slush. Highly recommended!

Flora was a sweet host. She checked in to make sure that everything was ok and if we needed anything. We were there for the Agawa Train Ride. The cabin was about 30 minutes north and easily accessible. We enjoyed our stay there and loved the location.

Had a wonderful relaxing weekend. It was so peaceful and quiet. Description matched the listing to a T. Janet was very responsive from the time we booked until the time we left. Wonderful hosts. The cabin was perfect and so clean and cozy. The welcome basket upon arrival was a nice little treat. Hope to be back again 😊
