Fabulous few days in a lovely little cottage - well positioned in a peaceful village with a couple of pubs within a minute or twos walk- cottage was clean and well equipped with a lovely hot tub to unwind in - Caroline and Paul very responsive and really clear instructions on how to find and access the cottage - great pub selling lovely food and a lovely welcome at the local British Legion - fantastic walks from the doorstep meaning our car didn’t move all the time we were there - would definitely recommend 😍

Extremely welcoming and was a really relaxing stay in a beautiful location. The coach house has everything you need to make your stay warm and comfortable. Geraldine helped us with things to do in the area and provided us with recommendations, which was great for some of the lovely walks we went on. Very accommodating and hospitable, nothing was too much trouble, and any issues were resolved really quickly. She did everything possible to make our stay as easy as possible given we were in the middle of moving house and had a lot too deal with. Highly recommend a visit to Snelston and the coach house if you are visiting Derbyshire and the Peak District.

Swallows cottage was perfect for our girls weekend. We were so glad to have good weather to enjoy the gorgeous patio area with bbq. The kitchen was so well prepared with all the essentials we needed and more. The living room and kitchen are so spacious and we loved the carefully considered decor. Izzy provided excellent info and suggestions locally, and was really responsive to any questions we had. We'll definitely be keeping this place in mind for future trips.

The cottage itself is really cute and there are loads of little touches which give it so much personality. Beds were super comfy and the kitchen is very well equipped. Carolyn was an amazing host, so friendly and helpful. Our kids (and the adults to be fair) were OBSESSED with the alpacas who they loved to feed - and also the goats, chickens, dogs and cats about the farm. It’s the kind of place where you create memories, and our kids will long remember collecting their own freshly laid eggs for breakfast. We had such a great time and have told all our friends, a very memorable stay.
