Monthly Rentals in Dockray

This is a lovely place, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. There are walks on your doorstep and no need to get in your car if you do not want to. The accommodation had everything we needed in the kitchen and the fireplace in the living room was an added bonus for the cold nights, as we went in February, plus there is underfloor heating which really made the place cosy. The gardens surrounding the accommodation are lovely and there is a fire pit at the top of the garden to watch the stars if you are lucky enough to get a clear night. The sauna and cold plunge were great after a long day of hiking, we were lucky as the other accommodation that shared the facilities used the sauna late in the evening and we used them late afternoon, so we didn't overlap, which was ideal. I would highly recommend this accommodation, it was lovely for our family break with the dogs. Thanks again for everything

We were so pleased with our choice to stay at The Hayloft. The property is lovely, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. Victoria and Jim were super friendly and made us feel very welcome - and Victoria's freshly made shortbread was a very kind touch. The dogs and chickens visited us each morning and were very entertaining! The property is in a wonderful and peaceful location and we did lots of exploring around Gowbarrow Fell, Aira Force and Ullswater without neededing our car. The Royal Hotel in Dockray, where we enjoyed a lovely evening meal, is only a short walk away too. We were lucky to have a couple of days of amazing weather and would love to return in the future.

A repeat stay at Dodds Lee, it’s a stunning cottage, really homely!

Great location on the edge of the Lake District to venture into and go on a hike or two! Ideal for large groups or on your own. Had everything one needs, very friendly hosts!
