Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Desert Hot Springs

Had a great time at Bryan's place. Closer to the North entrance of JTNP which is less crowded than the West entrance, and the same amount of driving time as the town of Joshua Tree to popular spots like Hidden Valley. 29 Palms is also a nice area with more going on than Joshua Tree. Super appreciative of pet friendly features like a fully fenced-in yard, dog bowls, a dog bed - the pets in our group were very happy. Check in was seamless, and Bryan was super communicative throughout - special thank you to Bryan for letting us know that someone had forgotten something very important after checkout!

we loved our stay up on the hill above yucca valley. the sunsets blow your mind, the night sky - epic, good birding! the house is exactly like it looks in the photos - artfully curated stuff everywhere - amazing vinyl collection, and a kitchen has nice quality knives pans that makes you feel like someone actually lives in it. great communication with the hosts - everything about our stay was excellent. hope to be back in the future.

We loved staying at Lee's Casa Azul for our family vacation. All the spaces are decorated nicely and very practical. It provided many opportunities for fun: hot tubs at night under the stars, hammocks to relax in and read, outside space for fun games, and an inside game space for ping pong and darts. It is easy to take a walk down to town for a coffee or pizza; the National Park is a short drive away. Best of all, Lee answers any question you may have in about five minutes or less. He is available and accommodating.

We just came home from a week at Jaspreet's place - 4 adults and 2 teens. The house had plenty of room to spread out, with a great living space and dining area that easily fit our group without feeling at all crowded. We enjoyed using the outdoor space as well - a nice seating area, hot tub, propane firepit and propane bbq. Something that was really nice that we haven't always experienced at rentals - the kitchen was big and had empty cupboards where we could put away our groceries. Often we have to leave all our food on the table or counter at a place because there's no extra cupboard space. Same in the bathrooms and bedrooms - it was nice to be able to stay tidy by putting our things away somewhere. We really enjoyed the feeling of being out in the desert (rather than smack in the middle of a neighborhood) - the sunrises and sunsets were stunning. We would definitely stay again!!

Haley’s place is a lovely home in Palm Springs, close to the airport and a short drive to downtown. Two bathrooms, comfy beds, a clean kitchen with supplies, lovely pool, patio and well maintained yard (with grass!). Plus a heavy loaded lemon tree! What’s not to love? Recommend highly!

The home was great, clean and welcoming. The backyard was perfect for morning coffee to evening sunsets. Sarah and Liz were extremely good at communicating and making sure I was comfortable.

Amazing location! Quiet and secluded for anyone that needs a getaway from the city life! Highly recommend and plenty to occupy your time and mind. Will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Desert Jewel. Genaro was always responsive to our many questions before and during our stay and very flexible with our needs. The house smelled and looked like it had just been cleaned upon our arrival. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The home was quiet and comfortable. Thank you to Genaro. We look forward to another visit sometime soon!

Beautiful place! It looks just like the photos. 6 of us had more than enough space. Kitchen was well stocked. The backyard with the pool and jacuzzi made it extra special. We didn’t need the pool heated. It was refreshing to dip into after getting hot in the jacuzzi. Diana was quick to respond to me whenever I messaged her. She gave me some good breakfast recommendations. We attended the BNP Paribas Open and found this location to be conveniently close.

We have stayed in a lot of Airbnb's over the years and Steven is by far the best host. His place was amazing and the communication was outstanding. He takes pride in his beautiful home and it shows. The privacy was terrific. He had noted that we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary early and had a special cake made for us waiting when we arrived.....so sweet and thoughtful. He recommended places and when the gate remote battery went dead, I emailed him and within minutes the maintenance person brought us a new one. We will definitely stay here again. Hated to leave.

The house was perfect! Big, clean, newly renovated. Plenty of towels, supplies, and a washer and dryer (that we didn't use but was there if needed). The pool (also didn't use) was lovely. IWould stay again!

Very conveniently located. 10 minute drive to downtown Palm Springs. 5 minute walk to Demuth park with pickleball courts and dog park. The host was very responsive and provided everything necessary for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped. The yard was nice and clean. I really appreciate that the house is dog friendly and so close to the park for dog walking. Also great was the option to heat pool and/or spa separately. We used the spa. The pool was nice but we didn’t opt to heat it as it was a little too cool outside for most of our stay. The house is convenient to the airport but that comes with hearing the planes throughout the day (but not too bad - and not at night). Great wifi. Comfortable beds. Nice neighborhood and friendly neighbors.

We loved staying at this cabin, and would definitely return. After some recent disappointing Airbnb's, this one stood out as a gem! The cabin is the perfect level of cozy, rustic but also updated. The beds are comfy and kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace in the living room and the spa outside. The fenced in yard was also appreciated for our pup. Tawny, our host, was great at communicating. Highly recommend this cabin!

So happy I found Todd and Ileen's place! We don't often bring our dog because it's sometimes challenging to find homes that allow dogs. Todd and Ileen made it easy for us to bring her. The pet rules were easy to follow and consistent with our views.

I loved staying here. I stayed 2 weeks. Everything was comfortable and homey. - the bed, the sofa, the shower. It was quiet. Heat worked very well on a couple of cold winter nights. Secure place including for the car. Hosts were super nice, I met them briefly when they came to address a plumbing problem which arose after a few days. They took care of it immediately. Location is about 20 minutes drive from central Palm Springs. A lot of retail is nearby, within 10 minutes drive. I hope to stay again sometime.

This is a charming house with a beautiful backyard. The beds were comfortable and the linens were pristine. The finishings in the bathroom and kitchen were a bit dated. I struggled to find the hair dryer because one of the bathroom cabinets was stuck. However, the house had all the necessary amenities. The backyard has a large pool with a nice stone hot tub. The location is further from down town, but is located in a quiet residential area. I did some running in the area, which felt safe to do so.

What an EXCELLENT stay in a beautiful and quiet location. This AirBnb is about 10-15 minutes from the town of Joshua Tree and such a wonderful experience. The place is beautifully designed and looks like it can straight out of an architecture magazine. The property and home is gorgeous with awesome amenities. The hot tub, pool, fire pit are all amazing and the outdoor seating is perfect to just hang out, relax, and enjoy the desert. Even basic appliances like the stove, microwave, fridge, etc are very high end and luxurious. The windows are plentiful and the place just feels like a desert oasis. Not to even mention the cute extra whole house in the back that is a suite in itself! Absolutely incredible stay and would 100% stay again if I was in the JT area.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at the house. The house is even more beautiful and larger in person. It was very clean and welcoming. It was well stocked with everything we needed. We felt right at home. The big pool and back yard was definitely the highlight of our trip! We are a family of 6 and it was so nice to have so much outdoor seating and space. We spent most of our time outdoors. Always felt safe in the gated community. Igor responded very quickly and kindly to my questions. We would love to come back and stay for longer.

I’ve stayed at Mario’s cozy cabin multiple times over the years, and always enjoy coming back again. Great stay with a large fenced in yard for the pooch, conveniently located walking distance to the village center. Will definitely be back. Thanks again, Mario!
