Amazing Stay at Fahim’s Place! I recently stayed at Fahim’s place in Colombo, and it was a fantastic experience. The property was exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a hassle-free stay. The location was ideal, providing easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and transportation. Fahim was an outstanding host, always responsive and ready to assist. I highly recommend Fahim’s place to anyone visiting Colombo and would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

We had an excellent stay. The space was clean and perfect for our family of 4 with two children. Views were amazing and the building had great amenities 24hr door staff made things very easy Minimal clutter and lots of space for our bags. Supermarket just across the street and lots of tuk tuks around all the time. Highly recommend, Host was very helpful and friendly. We will stay here again , when we are back in Colombo

Great location, spacious apartment, rooftop pool pool overlooking the sea view and gym. The apartment has everything you need. There are no interruptions with light — there is a generator. Great fast wifi.

I had an amazing 2-day stay at this apartment right across the beach. The view of the ocean from the living room and master bedroom was breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. The location is perfect, with a great bar and restaurant just steps away on the beach. The apartment was spotless, and the host was incredibly attentive, always available to answer questions and provide anything we needed. Despite a countrywide power outage at the time of check-in, the host went above and beyond to minimize any inconvenience. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing beach getaway!

Our stay at this place was great.

We stayed at this place for over two weeks. Host Sudaththa and the manager Lakshanee were responsive and ready to help. Our flight arrived after midnight and the drive from airport was slow due to heavy rain. Lakshanee waited for us to let us in and introduce the facilities. They were also happy to accommodate our request to get some groceries for our immediate needs. The pool on the roof is small but very clean and is set in nice surroundings (can see the ocean from the rooftop). A/c units and fans kept us cool and the generator on standby meant there was no power interruption for more than a few seconds. The security guards were alert even after 19 pm and opened the gate for us when we were a little late to get back. Overall the experience was better than anticipated. The kitchen utensil range is limited but if we had asked I believe what we needed would have been provided. We did not because we only needed to make breakfast and tea there.

Comfortable with everything you need. I will stay here again if I’m in Colombo. Felt like home.

Highly recommended and will stay again. Host, Arosha is super responsive and the place is clean and neat. All the amenities ara available and food courts and keels super market is located within a 50m radius.

Lovely property in the suburbs of Colombo! Perfect for a small group of friends and family of 4-5 people. Extremely spacious rooms with well thought out furniture and fittings and to top it all off a large patio to unwind and chill.

My elderly mother, a relative and myself stayed at Prasanna’s place. Prasanna was a friendly host and facilitated especially the needs of my mother. The house was a silent peaceful place. I managed to read a lot in my stay and participated online conference from there. We had good overnight sleep in those great air conditioned rooms. The garden was spacious with lots of trees . Many of them had local fruit which we enjoyed with permission from Prasanna. Local areas were still villages and good to experience the feel of Sri Lankan villages

Ranil should more clearly explain regarding the service being provided by the staff. When we ordered this villa we were not even aware of the fact there were services included and we had our own cook, maintenance specialist and a personal manager. Apart from that, everything was amazing. This villa is for somebody who wants quiet and be away from civilization for a while

Thevin's place was an absolute delight to be at, has all the amenities you'd need for a stay, and located in a peaceful area away from all sounds and distractions. Thevin was always helpful and went above and beyond in helping us during our 2 nights stay. Easy to find rides via pick me or uber from the area. Would recommend to anyone!

Great play to stay and see the real sri-lanka. Velu & Charminder who look after the house and are on hand for pretty much anything are very friendly and helpful and were great for explaining how things work in Sri Lanka. The house is roomy, the garden is lovely - we absolutely enjoyed our stay. Thank you

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb on our wedding night, and it was absolutely perfect! The space was even bigger than we expected, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What made it even more special was the host’s warm and welcoming nature—she was incredibly friendly and accommodating. It truly felt like a home away from home. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay with an amazing host! Thank you so much ❤️

We loved our stay at Samudra house and can absolutely recommend it, especially with kids. In our six weeks in Sri Lanka, it was one of our favourite stays. It was everything we wanted it to be: - Beautiful house, just as described and shown in the pictures, generous rooms, big garden, great pool. - Between about 11 and 1, the pool was in the shade of a hotel, which we loved, since it allowed the kids to be in the pool during the hottest hours of the day without having to put on sun lotion. A big plus, in the kids and our opinions. - Beautiful beach with a very friendly and relaxed vibe within 2 minutes walking distance. - Various beach restaurants within 2 minutes walking distance - Three big grocery stores within 10 minutes walking distance. - It was the only airbnb house in Sri Lanka without a caretaker, which we appreciated, since we felt like having the house to ourselves. - It is really close to Colombo, we did two day trips to get to know Colombo.

Great apartment! Fully corresponds to the description and photos, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room-kitchen. Very comfortable mattresses and pillows in bedrooms. 5 minutes from the apartment there is a beach (if you want to relax on the sunbeds and under umbrellas, I recommend the place of Mrs.Muriel Fernando near the Sugar beach cafe. A very friendly host organizes everything you need for a comfortable stay on the beach). 7 minutes from the apartment in the other direction is the main street, which has plenty of cafés, restaurants and shops. The stay in this apartment was wonderful! For any questions related to the apartment, Raja helped us, he also helped to organize the tour

Wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment. We had no issues during our visit . Added extras like tea/coffee, crackers , chocolate biscuits, soft drinks & bananas were a sweet touch . Would highly recommend this accommodation.

Spacious, bright apartment. Lots of cafes, grocery stores, pharmacies , restaurants in walking distance. The rooftop pool is great! 10min walk to the ocean to watch sunset. Kanishka was very responsive and helpful! We could definitely stay here again.

Where to start, what a great host, cozy place, felt serenity and place like more than home. Since i booked n approached her, she was very responsive , allowed early check in. She has decorated each n every item in the apartment with special attention and theme. Right from main door till all rooms, beach theme pillows, wall decoration, special souvenirs from across the world, beach theme kitchen cabinets. The place is just few meters from beach, great views of the sun set and beach around and roof top pool of course is a main attraction.. I am thankful to her for being such a great host I would not even think to go anywhere else next time i am in Colombo .

We had a very enjoyable stay in Colombo. The hosts communicated very well from the initial contact we had with them. They were professional in their services, flexible, the apartment was also very clean and the linen was good quality.

The apartment was nice and cosy. Had lovely views of the city and the sea. Located in a safe area with security at the ground level. Lots of amenities within walking distance or a short tuk ride away. Ahmed and Shaira are also sweet and very responsive hosts. They personally came to check us in and out. They even have a little guide with recommendations for tourists. No regrets staying in Alfred Fern. Definitely will go back again on our next trip to Colombo!

We dealt with Jenny who was very responsive and met us at checkin to show us around. The place was great, beautifully decorated and supplied with everything we needed and more. I didn’t expect hair dryers in both bathrooms, pool and gym towels and access to Netflix were all amazing additions. The location was great, walking distance to the beach and great restaurants. We felt safe as it’s a very lively area full of restaurants and shops, plus having security guide at the entrance helped. The only negative is that the pool area didn’t have any chairs or places to put belongings, but this is an issue for building management rather than our wonderful hosts. We would definitely stay here again.
