Beauty and isolation. I wanted to escape with an element of remoteness, to spend days swimming and relaxing in nature. This surpassed my predictions. Catered breakfast at sunrise and sunset. Days spent exploring the reef, snorkelling and skin diving, or kayaking around the nearby islands. There are fins and snorkels to borrow, if needed, and rechargeable lights for night snorkelling. Napping and reading, followed by more snorkelling. The rustic cabin was not lacking. The fans kept me cool. My cabin was on the hill in the trees, cooler than the lower ones. The internet connection was fast and reliable, though I wasn't making any video calls. Had a day trip to Black Island, David's favourite, and can't recommend enough. I swam with thousands of fish. I went snorkelling and diving with David at night, seeing multiple seahorses. David shared favourite spots to explore and, with Genny, helped planning my stay. Gennya was a ray of sunshine, ensuring that everything was exceeding expectation

It was very nice in the cottage. We were able to rent a scooter directly from the accommodation and so you can easily get everywhere:) We were very pleased with the kitchen and general amenities. Communication was also very good! It was responded very quickly and was very helpful. There was no washing machine in the accommodation, but you can either hand wash in the main house or use one of the many very cheap washing service in the city. With the rented scooter, this is easily doable. Thank you for everything!

Almost new, spacious, bright. No roosters screaming in the morning. Kitchenette with fridge, sink. TV with netflix. Efficient and quiet air conditioning. Window mosquito net. 2 small sofas. Blackout curtains. Very easy communication with the owner. Located next to the McDonalds and the outpost hostel. A convenience store / pharmacy 50 m away. One of the best value for money in the city.
