Monthly Rentals in Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council

If you are looking for a modern, sterile stay, this is definitely not it! The home is an old house, very ‘country’, with timber floors, large rooms, separate living areas and amazing outdoor spaces for relaxing and entertaining. It’s set back against a hill overlooking a quaint, yet socially busy township. It’s a place you could stay in for days. We didn’t get a chance to read any of the books in the bookshelf or play the board games provided. We only stayed 3 nights!

The cottage was easy to find and the directions that were given, were easy to follow. The cottage and location looks just like the photos! The yard is fully fenced and very dog friendly but the fence is quite low and large dogs could easily jump the fence. If your pooches likes to jump fences, please be mindful of that. It is a working farm and there are sheep roaming freely close by. They come right up to the fence line sometimes. The cottage was clean and had everything that we needed, from dishes to serving bowls, forks to knives, pots and pans, tongs, spatula and even a whisk! The bathroom /laundry was very spacious! It was also equipped with an iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner and even a hair dryer. Both humans and 2 large pooches enjoyed our stay there and hopefully will stay there again soon. Such a lovely place, beautifully styled with great attention to detail. Very comfortable stay and we sppreciated the milk, museli and bottle of local wine. It was a very hot day and the air-conditioning was on for us so the house was cool on arrival. Jen was a very responsive host and helped us out when a pair of PJs was accidentally left behind. Great stay.

This property was exactly as described and was a wonderful holiday. Mary-Ann was helpful, had great communication and explained the property wonderfully. The highlight for us was the outdoor baths under the stars (or maybe the resident echidna....). Would definitely recommend for a peaceful get away.
