Cabin vacation rentals in Connecticut River

A quiet and peaceful getaway from the city! Such a great place to relax and hang out. We were nervous about taking Amtrak and if Ubers were limited, but that was no problem. We also brought groceries but Uber Eats/Doordash were quick too. Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for an escape from the business of NYC :)

We loved our stay here!! The A-frame house is an amazing place with great amenities such as the sauna and a hot tub. The place is cozy and beautiful, Christian is an amazing host who communicates well and goes out of his way to make sure our stay is safe and enjoyable. Will definitely come back and highly recommend this place :)

My husband and I wanted a place to stay in Saranac during their winter carnival. Robert’s place has a direct view of the ice castle across the lake! On Saturday night we sat in the hot tub with a glass of wine— secluded by the trees, and watched the fireworks going off over the rainbow-lit castle. It was magical!! It was really nice to spend all day in the frigid cold outside and then return to the cabin to cook dinner and relax in front of fireplace. And the bed was awesome! Really comfortable— great pillows and comforter. It was a decadent weekend.

Great location just south of Mt Washington. Lots of activities to do and restaurants and local super market very convenient. Hot Tub huge plus after skiing all day.

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend. We loved the fire place, whirlpool with lights and watching the stars and of course the surroundings. We went for a walk on the lake! Can only recommend that place.

This was the perfect cozy cabin vibe that my fiancé and I were looking for to enjoy a little weekend getaway! It was a snowy weekend & but the cabin itself was so warm and homey, it’s near supermarkets if you need to stock up for the weekend, & there’s a cute little town with plenty of dine in options nearby. The hot tub was my favorite part, especially after a day of snowboarding at Whiteface mountain. Amy was super sweet, responsive, and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone looking to relax and disconnect!

The place was perfect for our few days. We came to ski but the weather did not cooperate for most of our trip. The house is located close to trails so one day we took a hike. It’s close to the outdoor center so we went snow shoeing. The final day we were able to ski. The house was perfect for our family. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved all of the personal touches. Hot tub was nice when it was snowing outside. Great place and location.

My wife and I stayed at the Karma cabin with our two dogs while on a ski trip. This was my favorite air bnb I've ever stayed in! It is a really cool house, and you are supporting a good cause by staying there. It's extremely dog-friendly as well.

Super cozy and peaceful. Will definitely be coming back up for a ski weekend at Mount Pleasant!

The cabin was exactly what we hoped for! Cozy, homey, rustic but will "all the things." The soaker tub was amazing, the kitchen was stocked with cooking essentials, spices and condiments, and more! Comfortable bed. It felt remote and quiet but good restaurants and cute shops were just 30 min. away. Hope to book again!

We had such a wonderful stay! The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with pots, pans, and all the cooking equipment we needed—it made preparing meals so easy and enjoyable. The snowy weekend brought stunning scenery, and we loved just sitting by the windows, soaking in the beautiful views. The fireplace was a huge highlight! There was plenty of firewood and clear instructions to get it going, making for such cozy evenings. William was fantastic—super helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had, which made everything smooth and stress-free. This stay was everything we hoped for and more. Highly recommend! 🌟

The cabin was wonderfully cozy, conveniently located and loved the fire pit and indoor fire place!! Kitchen is well stocked - happy to see a pancake griddle! Great place for a wintery getaway, minutes to both down hill and cross country ski locations and many great restaurants! We hope to visit again someday - so nice to be able to bring our pup too!

We had a lovely stay in Sarah and Omega’s cozy home. The furnishings were very comfortable and everything we needed was at our fingertips. We loved the big island in the kitchen where we played games and enjoyed family dinners. We look forward to returning again!

Audrey and Seb’s place was a cute place for a little getaway. My boyfriend and I loved the house and the hot tub was very relaxing! I would go be back!

We loved our stay at Jessica's cabin! The cabin itself is somehow even cuter and cozier than the photos. We drove around and visited Phoenicia Diner and walked around Kingston in the afternoon (the drive was very manageable). We also got food from Upstate Taco nearby, and it was delicious!! Also huge shout out to Jessica, as there was a snowstorm one night that we stayed, and she was responsive to let us know that the roads are reliably plowed, and offered to have someone plow the driveway if needed so we could get out.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at Burju and Michael’s cabin! We had everything we needed in this rustic home. We were warm enough with the wood stove and the space heater. The kitchen had all the cookware and dishes we needed, and we were able to wash dishes with collected snow. You can tell how much love was put into the creation of this place and how much they care about the experience of their guests. The area is beautiful and quiet!

Me and my girlfriend were wanting a cozy getaway in the midst of a white winter, and we found it! Our franklin stove kept us extremely warm while look at our bedroom window/door onto the snow-covered pines. This place is tucked away off the main road, has all the required amenities, and was perfect. With the ponds and trees, I'm sure this is equally beautiful any season. This is a quick 10-minute drive from Saranac Lake. Jillian also accommodated a date change for us- with pleasure and promptness. A great trip to a great place- I highly recommend it!

We loved our visit at the Peace Ridge Cabin! The cabin was cozy and peaceful, surrounding nice hiking trails and views of the mountains near by. The house offered amenities that made our stay exactly what we were looking for. Just a short drive to some nice restaurants and Lake Placid center made it convenient. We enjoyed getting to bring our dog who loved exploring the grounds! Jerry was polite and informative. He was even flexible when we needed to check in early! We enjoyed our stay and would love to return again!

A great stay in a beautiful location! The cabin is exactly the unplugged getaway we were looking for and is so charming and magical! Best few days tucked away doing nothing! We will definitely be back!

It really is the most beautiful cabin! The stream is so very lovely and the hosts are so nice and friendly! The bed is super comfy and the little heater that is provided is perfect for cooler weather. The shower is just amazing. The whole place is so beautiful and the perfect spot to rest! I definitely want to go back and sincerely think everyone should go there at least once in their life! Thank you, Christina and Doug!

Jack and Donna's cabin was exactly as described. We loved our stay, so peaceful and quiet. Their rustic cabin has everything that we needed to enjoy a quick get away, beautiful surroundings and a warm fire for the chilly nights. Even though the cabin is off-the-grid, the lights (both solar and gas) were more than enough to provide light to read a good book and play some board games. The kitchen is well appointed with pots and pans, dishes, and cooking utensils. We very much look forward to returning to this lovely place and exploring more of the area!
