Absolutely stunning location on the Isle of Skye. The hamlet of Glendale is very rural with plenty of country walks right outside the door. This was a perfect location for us to spend 3 weeks over Christmas Holidays. The house was perfect for many pots of tea after long walks in the countryside. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen is a great layout as a family center. The Glendale Country Store is a short walk down the road from the house and has an amazing selection of food options for such a small place. Overall, this was the perfect location for us to spend our family 2024 Christmas Holidays. Hope to come back again.

we loved our Christmas & New year stay at Elke's house, great communication from booking & quick to respond to any questions. You do need a car as the house is quite remote, perfect for us, we made sure we had all the groceries we needed for our stay. The views from the house are amazing & we enjoyed local walks as well as travelling to Neist Point, Fairy Glen, Sligachan, Fairy Pools, Quiraing, Portree & Coral Beach. The house is clean, comfortable furniture & beds, nice linen & an open fire to enjoy in a cold night. Thanks for a lovely stay Elke

The location is just magical. You couldn’t ask for a more secluded spot to observe natures beauty. The accommodation is perfect, perfectly blends modern facilities with rustic design. Would happily stay again

Such a beautiful location. Lucy was a great communicator and I couldn’t ask for an easier and cozier place to come back to at the end of the day! The bed was super comfy as well.
