What a delightful experience we had staying at this beautifully renovated former schoolhouse in Church Town, Donegal! From the moment we arrived, the charm and history of the building were evident, blending seamlessly with the modern comforts inside. The thoughtful renovations have preserved the character of the original structure, with the high ceilings, large windows, and the warm, inviting atmosphere creating a perfect balance between old and new. The surrounding landscape of Donegal, with its rugged beauty and tranquility, made for a peaceful stay. Yet, we weren’t far from activities, shops, and other necessities. We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay at Sophie's. The kids had such a memorable experience petting and naming the lambs and Sophie made the whole family feel part of her family. Sophie was always available for recommendations and to ensure our stay was perfect for us. It meant so much learning about the people, the place and the history of the area. We hope to come back in the future.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was comfortable and warm and it was also possible to use the turf stove in the sitting room. We were greeted with fresh eggs, milk and scones and a field of very cute lambs next door. House is well stocked. Lovely views out the window. As evident in the listing description/location, a car is necessary to get around. A trip up to Ards Forest Park and Dunfanahy coast is highly recommended!

We had a great stay at Bridie and Paul's house. The accommodation is as described and super clean and neat. We only stayed one night but it is absolutely suitable for longer stays as well. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, communication is quick and easy. Thank you for having us and for the great and warm welcome!
