This is the second time we are staying at Casa Sara and honestly it is a home away from home. The location is peaceful, very beautiful & well maintained. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the caretaker & the owner (Daryl) had kept a handwritten note & some Goan wine & pantry staples for us. Daryl is extremely friendly & hospitable. Staying in this 100 year old Portuguese bunglow is a cherished experience. The rooms are spacious, clean & comfortable. We loved the ambience & the amenities. The place has everything for a comfortable homely long stay such as a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, stovetop, refrigerator, mixer-grinder, water purifier, pots and pans and serve ware. There is a separate dining area & living room with a TV and a computer table. The house has other essential amenities such as washing machine, clothes dry rack and ironing stand. I would highly recommend this place, must visit! Thank you Daryl for being the best host & helping us have memories for life!

Our stay in Goa was truly unforgettable, and this place made it even more special! It is the perfect honeymoon destination, and I highly recommend it to all newlywed couples looking for a peaceful yet adventurous getaway. The host, Cristovao, was extremely responsive and welcoming. He ensured that we had everything we needed and even surprised us with a delicious Goan sweet, Bebinca – The Exotic Goan, at the end of our stay, which was a wonderful gesture. The location is simply beautiful and very cozy. Surrounded by lush greenery, it feels like staying in a serene jungle retreat, offering both privacy and tranquility. The swimming pool was well-maintained and added to the relaxing experience. Despite the secluded feel, all major attractions, restaurants, and beaches are just a 10-15 minute bike ride away, making it easy to explore the vibrant side of Goa as well. Overall, this was an amazing experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Goa.

Oh what can one say about Carmen’s place! It really is heaven on earth. A divine sanctuary! A museum of a home to exceptional taste. A temple like peace ... All held within a canopy of trees and birdsong.. and the graceful care of Anthony who somehow seems to have found a harmony between always being available yet utterly discreet. in truth we never wanted to leave from the moment we entered. We wanted to swim in the pool for days on end and enjoy the silence, to spend long days in the inner garden with good food, to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding village and markets and pretend it never had to end! Carmen is a delight! Her home is surely expression of her delightful heart and we will be forever thankful we got to spend time here. 🙏

A massive courtyard, lush green with birds chirping all day, Casa de Xanti offers a tranquil heaven for us city folks. The pictures put up by the hosts barely do justice to the beauty of this place. Make sure you have a vehicle (which is a given for Goa) to explore the neighbouring beaches and the amazing food spots. And saying that the hosts, Neel and Sanya, go an extra mile to make you feel at home would be an understatement. Right from the time of booking till the time we checked out and then some, Neel and Sanya were constantly there to guide us and ensure we had a great hassel-free time. Last but not the least, if you love dogs, this place has the best furry friends!
