Monthly Rentals in Chalet Favre

A warm thank you to Virginie, Julien and Riou (?). We felt extremely comfortable and in good hands from the beginning in your studio and with you as hosts. The mountainous scenery is beautiful and gave us a lot of energy and strength. There are many opportunities for walks and hikes directly from the house and in the vicinity. Since we spent our holidays there in the middle season, the nearby villages were almost deserted and the shopping routes a little longer, but we could find the peace we needed so urgently. The hosts were always friendly and provided us with helpful information and also once with fresh eggs from their chickens. We are already planning our next stay in this wonderful place. Looking forward to seeing you again soon.

Pierre always smiles, he is welcoming & caring. Her home is just like her description. Our week was magical, impeccable mattress, the sun flooded the apartment, the ski runs were a 5-minute walk, many snowshoe rides on the site, nice restaurants on site, what happiness for my husband & me. Beautiful house in a quiet little village full of charm. As per listing.

Our week in Marius's Barn- the Authentique grange Savoyarde was simply the best. It was exactly as described on the website and more. A real home from home cosy place to stay in Chalmieu, with unbelievable views and a fabulous wood burner that kept the whole place nice and warm. The bed was so comfortable, and the kitchen was very well appointed, lots of space, and appliances were easy to use. Moune and Philippe are the kindest hosts, and Francoise warmly welcomed us when we arrived, with lots of excellent information about the barn, and the location. Nearest skiing was at the lovely Saint Sorlins, with loads of restaurants and a pleasant local ski area, and we found it was less than an hour to drive over to Orelle and ski up at Val Thorens, where the snow, as always, was incredible. We are hoping to be able to return next year. Thank you so much, Moune and Philippe for such an incredible week.
