I had a lovely stay in Fornelli, it was peaceful with a stunning view and I really enjoyed the emphasis on all the eco friendly details. It’s a great area to go hiking but also to enjoy the beach. Luca is an excellent host who’s always available if you need him but you hardly do because everything is well prepared and described very detailed. Thank you for this great experience ✨

I have stayed at AirBnBs in more than a dozen towns in over half a dozen countries. My Calabrese and Sicilian hosts on this recent trip to Southern Italy have outshone the others. I was only in Sicily for a night, but spent weeks in Staletti, Calabria. Raffaele not only made me feel like a special guest, he treated me as a friend. By the time I left, he had introduced me to his father, his good friend living in London, an uncle with whom I played tennis, and the card playing regulars and owner of Bar Jolli, Peppe, and his brother, Salvatore. They were born in Calgary and spoke a little English so we had that Canadian connection. I came here by myself to work from home, escaping some of the Nova Scotia winter. It was kind of Raffa to make he feel like part of the community over the holiday season. I met Babbo Natale (Santa) in neighboring Sqillace, flew to Rome to see the Pope on Xmas Eve and Day, and Raffa invited me to see the Befana on the 5th before leaving town.#1 holiday ever!

Gianluca’s place was absolutely stunning, with many original touches such as the local tiles, but updated in general to provide a modern touch. Gianluca was very organized, met us upon arrival, super friendly, and helpful prior to our stay with superior communication. The apartment is in the heart of the city, everything is walkable, safe and the photos as others have indicated do not do it justice. Unbelievable stay, really a beautiful and romantic Sicilian apartment out of the movies! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Valentina was super helpful, and the place was spotless. I highly recommend it, because you have everything at a maximum of 5 minutes walk. The neighbourhood is safe but lively. If you're tall you have to be careful of the low ceiling in the bedroom part, but otherwise it's very cosy. I would definitely stay there again.
