Monthly Rentals in Cabot Head

Enjoyed our winter get away! Driveway was clear and there was a big hill of snow the kids loved. Place was the right size for our family of 4. Loved that it was clean and no pet hair (we always take note). Everything was ready and available - split wood, sleds, snowshoes, coffee, etc. Toys and games inside so we didn't need to bring a bunch of things for the kids. Dress for the weather and enjoy some quiet!

The cottage and setting is lovely. It has a cottage feel as opposed to a house-in-the-woods feel: high ceilings, large windows, etc. It's set well into the trees and is quite secluded. It was perfect for our stay -- two adults who enjoy games, reading, and hiking. The kitchen worked well except that it's very cramped for washing dishes. As readers and gamers, we wished for better lighting -- another reading light by a comfy chair (there was one), reading lights by the beds, and light over the table for games. We ended up playing in the kitchen. Overall, a delightful stay in a cozy spot.

The only shortcoming of this experience was the length of our stay. We would love to stay longer! Michael was a great host and the Camp is one of the best parks I stayed in. The stress on quiet and peace is felt in every spot of the Camp. There is a lot to do - water and land - and there is something special about the beauty of surroundings. I will definitely try to return and recommend it to all my friends. Thank you Michael.

We stayed in this place for 5 days, during the fall weather. Elizabeth is very well organized. Cabin is very comfy, home has good heating and good insulation. BEAUTIFUL SCENERY!!! Just like the pictures , able to use fire pit, kiyaks , BBQ and deck. Reason why it’s difficult to reserve. 🍁❤️ If I could speak to my past self. I would recommend bringing water socks for boating. (if you don’t have any , otherwise you’d be getting your shoes SOAKED ) Thank you for a beautiful stay !!
