Great stay with all the furnishings you could need! The grill and hot tub made for a nice evening at the house. Only 20 minutes to Rockford and 2 hours from Chicago.

Peaceful property with a beautiful view of the Rock River on a quiet street. The neighborhood was quiet and fall foliage was beautiful. We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere in the home and parking was close. The walk along the river path was paved and the playground was so well kept up. The sunset was beautiful. The property was extremely clean and all amenities were within arms reach when you went to find an item in the kitchen. The decorations were delightful, refreshing and we thought out for comfort. I appreciated the makeup mirror in the bathroom and the soft towels. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom spacious.

Kathy is a wonderful host and her home is lovely. My friends and I appreciated the well stocked kitchen that has everything you need for cooking meals, and the variety of coffee. The house itself is very clean and has all the essentials. There was enough space for the four of us to stay there comfortably. We highly recommend grabbing a beer and pizza at the Hairy Cow Brewing restaurant right down the street. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable, Kathy!

We stayed during the Christmas Holiday, booking rather late (a few days before). When we arrived there was clear directions from the door to the kitchen. It was a great surprise that some additional amenities were available teas & hot chocolate, even bathroom non-essentials. I was very appreciative that after a busy holiday, I could come home to a quiet cozy space, ready my book & have a cup of tea.
