Monthly Rentals in Broomhead Reservoir

Fantastic hosts with a fantastic place. They were very welcoming and offered assistance if we were in need of help. The view was amazing and very easy to get too. Will definitely come back again!

The main purpose of our stay was to unwind and recharge our batteries and, thanks to John's beautiful cottage, this was achieved with ease. From our initial booking, communication with John was excellent...nothing was a problem. The cottage itself was a delight...comfortable and cosy but extremely stylish, enhanced by some lovely artworks throughout. Extremely comfy bed, a kitchen with everything you would need and more, plus a delightful log burner and kitchen range, which Geoff, John's dad, had kindly lit for us prior to our arrival. Geoff also ensured we had everything we needed, living next door. The welcome treats were also greatly appreciated. All in all, a wonderful Airbnb experience, one which we wouldn't hesitate to repeat. Many thanks.

This is a very comfortable, cosy cottage with the most amazing views. It is in a quiet and rural setting with footpaths right from the door up onto the moors or to the reservoirs. A short drive and you can access many more walks. The cottage is spacious and well furnished.

We stayed in the very small cottage, but there are another 4 larger cottages in the same place. Easy to check in. Beautiful surroundings. Walking distance to a great pub and lots of reservoirs. The only problem is the living room is dark, as there are no windows due to it being a converted barn. I was sleeping on the sofa bed and was woke up at 7am every day due to the light streaming through the kitchen window, as there was no blind. The bedroom was extremely light too, it would benefit from blackout blinds or curtains. Parking will be tight when all the cottages are occupied. I would say this cottage is best for 2 people. There’s only 1 sofa, with 2 bean bags, despite room for an armchair. The table is too small for 3 people to eat on. I would definitely return though. Warm on arrival. Water pressure is low. No phone signal, but great WIFI.
