Beachfront vacation rentals in Brightwater

It was an absolute treat to wake up each day at Te Wai Tahi and spend our time. Right on the waters edge, just a short stroll from the Mapua wharf and all its goodness, Te Wai Tahi is blissfully placed. The house had all we'd needed to enjoy our stay, with an abundance of feijoa as an extra treat. Marianne was warm and responsive. Fabulous all round.

Great location for exploring Abel Tasman. Opposite the beach and path to the start of the Abel Tasman trail. We loved the Park cafe for its chilled vibes and great food… ate breakfast and dinner there! Wish we could have stayed longer.

This is one of the nicest Airbnb that I have stayed in. The outdoor sitting and garden areas are so beautiful and relaxing. The hot tub was a bonus! Right across the street is a walking path that takes you on a nice walk down by the water. We drove a short distance to Kaiteriteri beach and did a kayak and cruise trip that was great. Stayed with my adult kids and grand baby. We had an absolutely amazing stay at David’s accommodation! The home was set out well to suit all of our needs and had recently been updated. Access to the kayaks was an excellent way to enjoy the ocean and have fun together. Such a beautiful location central to heaps of local sites of interest, not to mention the gateway to Abel Tasman National Park. Good comms from host - very easy to book and access. Would highly recommend and would definitely return, if in the area! Thanks again David.

We had a beautifully relaxing and energising couple of days at Tira Ora. The hosts were super lovely, the place was full of rustic charm, animals and birds everywhere. The rooms were comfortable, home-cooked food was delicious, and the place so captivating, we were sorry to have to leave. Great for families, a real natural treat away from it all.

House with charm and a beautiful view. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. Ideally located for all activities at Abel Tasman Park. Proximity to the road but that didn't bother us.

We haven’t been to Nelson for possibly 30 years - this will be our go to place now for Nelson-and we are very keen to come back now after staying here. Thank you for a wonderful stay- also the security, views, sunsets,and excellent introduction to the place with Rob was exceptional.

amazing views and location, amazing place and facilities like the pool, beds were comfy and apartment very clean. very well stocked with everything you need even milk. friendly and helpful even after leaving assisting with lost keys. great communication and always responded quickly. would love to stay again. highly recommend jacks place. thanks again

Beautiful place and location, and Sally and Wayne are very welcoming. A cute little village with great restaurants and ice cream is just a short walk down the beach. I highly recommend this spot for anyone, but especially for people interested in sitting on the deck soaking up the gorgeous scenery !

We had a very nice stay. The location is amazing even as int was rainy it was great to be close at the sea. Alison was very friendly and let us use the indoor and outdoor facilities. Thanks for the great stay!

What a lovely little spot. Less than a 5 minute walk from the beach, with lots of local restaurants within a 5 minute drive. The apartment itself was a good size and was stocked with everything we needed while we settled in. We would have happily stayed longer if we could.

What a lovely place to stay in Kaiteriteri. The house is great. Spacious, clean, great outdoor spaces and a well appointed kitchen. Kaiteriteri is a very peaceful and beautiful town to spend a few nights in and this AirBnB fits right in. I would recommend this place and stay there again myself.

Great house! Plenty of space and you really can't beat the location. The serenity and privacy of Monaco Peninsula and a short drive to Nelson City, the beach, Rabbit Island. Plenty to do! If you're looking to get away from it all, and also have access to plenty of activities and day trips, this is your place.

Fantastic apartment to stay in, spacious & beautifully clean with very comfortable beds. The showers were amazing- great water pressure! The pantry was well-stocked with essentials, including milk left in the fridge for us. Puzzles, books and games provided were also fun and appreciated. We especially enjoyed just walking across the road to the beach without having to use the car. Great cafes and restaurants nearby too. A wonderful home away from home. Would thoroughly recommend- (my only reservation being that a private skateboard ramp is under construction directly in front of this property, so I imagine the noise of that in use will considerably disturb the peace of staying there in the future. )

We had a great time in Mapua. John and Kim were absolutely lovely and gave us very good recommendations for activities. For example we could use their bikes to go to Rabbit Island. We also had fun using their canoe. The wharf with bars and restaurants is only a short walk from the house. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an incredible stay at Lou’s place while celebrating our friend’s wedding! Lou was an excellent host and the place was clean. The views from the house are incredible and the outside shower is a nice touch as well!
