Cabin vacation rentals in Boulder County

This spot was the perfect get away for my wife and I, as well as our two dogs! Quiet, remote, and very cozy! During our time here we actually spent a couple of days at the house because we didn’t want to get out! Felt right at home, everything was perfect! Thank you once again for the relaxing time and hospitality!

Our stay was absolutely magical! My husband and I booked Cindy’s place for a little Valentine’s Day getaway, and we had the most relaxing time. The home was spotless, cozy, and inviting. We brought our pups along, and they loved playing in the spacious fenced-in yard. The little touches really put this stay over the top—like the built-in Bluetooth audio system and the variety of games that kept us entertained. The hot tub was the perfect addition, and soaking in it while snow gently fell around us is a memory we’ll always cherish. We highly recommend this wonderful home and would love to stay here again!

Beautiful location and perfectly situated to enjoy nature. Lovely decor and nice jetted tub. Comfortable and very clean. Great communication about what to expect, directions, how to check in/out and instructions. Would highly recommend to friends and family for a peaceful getaway! Disconnecting from technology can be a good thing, but be aware that you probably won't have cell service and internet/wifi is hit and miss. So for emergencies, guests may want to provide alternate contact information to family/friends back home.

We loved this cabin- beautiful setting on the creek, great patio space with wonderful hot tub and fire pit. Plenty of firewood provided. Stars were fantastic on second night - the sky was so clear. Kitchen was very well equipped, great pots and pans, some staples available (cooking oil, sugar, spices, coffee, tea, popcorn), kitchen could use a casserole dish. Primary bed was great- very comfortable. Nice to have the extra bedroom upstairs- might have formerly been a loft, but there's a door for privacy for a double/queen and a twin bed. Water pressure wasn't great, but probably due to the location. Bathrooms weren't super-updated, but served our needs just fine. The cabin heated up quickly when we turned on the two baseboard heaters, and we loved the heater in the primary bathroom. We would definitely recommend Jill's cabin to anyone looking for peace and relaxation! Jill was VERY responsive, quick answers to our questions - thanks for a great time!

Man what a place to feel alive and free again!!!! Was just far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to find snacks and food!!!! We absolutely loved it out there in the middle of no where I got the relaxation I needed!!! Chefs kiss of air bnb 100%

This place is the ideal location. It is just far enough out and secluded to feel like you are all alone in the mountains. It is about 20 minutes from Estes Park and a couple other towns. This is the most stocked air bnb I have ever stayed at which was so nice! Plenty of seasonings to cook with and cook wear to use. There is so much space in this house also. Everything was in working manner, including the propane tanks being full for the heaters and gas fire pit on the porch. He also has some of the most comfortable pillows in there. We saw several deer in the back yard, multiple times. We loved this house and the host was amazing. He checked in to make sure we were okay and gave us pointers about the house and area. Would highly recommend staying here, and hope to again myself one day!

Sleepy Hollow was a great location for what we were looking for: really close to the Wild Basin entrance for RMNP, close drive to Estes Park and other hiking trails. Though this is right off CO-7 and by the local food/fuel station it was still pretty quiet and felt secluded. We enjoyed our stay as a couple and could see how this place would be just as great for larger parties. Internet was perfect for streaming on a cold, rainy day. The lot was full of Aspens in their fall glory and a little stream ran past the property. Hot tub was at the ready, nice steam showers, super comfy beds, electric fireplaces in the bedrooms that gave off heat, newer washer and dryer and a fully stocked kitchen (appliances, spices, utensils and more). Communication was easy and the host was proactive about making sure we had all the details and directions beforehand since cell service is pretty nonexistent in the mountains. We had no problem locating the cabin because of this. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing place, comfortable, splendid natural views, My kids and wife and I liked every detail of the property. Good communication and the Emily is kind and helpful, she even put notes telling us what to do. We look forward to coming back again. 5 stars

This was a great place to relax after a day of hiking and exploring RMNP. Very clean and comfortable. And the host was a great communicator (even though i wasn’t lol). Overall, just a really positive experience.

Very cozy and homey spot! Instructions were very clear and the area was beautiful and remote.

We loved staying here - everything was as described and communication was excellent. It is at the top of a large hill and the driveway is tight (but doable) if you drive a minivan. :) It is well stocked with kitchen equipment, games, puzzles, books. Very cozy. Probably a fair price given the limited options for lodging within the area. Walking distance to restaurants and shops if you don't mind a walk up the hill home. We were very comfortable here. I booked it because I am a yoga teacher and I trust yoga peeps to tend to their spaces well and my daughters were on board with a rainbow house! We feel like we found a gem in this stay. Thank you!

Michelle's Charming Mountain Cabin is even more amazing than the photos and description; Words like cozy, sumptuous, warm, inviting, and peaceful. This old-time looking cabin in the most old-time of all old-time towns, Gold Hill (you must go if you haven't), has been lovingly restored and extended into a modern home with all the expected amenities (internally). We felt so held 8) Michelle is an incredible host, I hope you are lucky enough to cross paths with them for a chat before enjoying your magical getaway. Thanks Michelle.

We had a lovely stay at the Owl Chalet. It was definitely a quirky place, but it was very spacious and comfortable. We stayed nice and warm during the cold, windy nights, and it was right down the road from delicious wood-fired pizza. Highly recommend.

I felt right at home here and definitely plan on making this a regular trip!

The Blacksmith Cabin / Riverside Cabins location worked out great for us. It is in a great location not far from exciting destinations such as Boulder, Estes Park, and Rocky Mountain National Park. The nearby town of Lyons is charming as well - we visited the local bakery/general store, highly recommend. The little creek winding through Riverside Cabins, with nearby propane fire pits for night time campfires, is beautiful. The woodburning stove inside was fun to use also. The bathroom shower is a bit cramped but I believe a bathroom model is planned to improve this. Heidi was responsive to some requests we had, which we appreciated. Would visit again!

Not everybody wants to party on NYE and my son and I were looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway to bring in the new year. David’s place fit the description and so much more. Not only was it the charming and rustic setting we were looking for, but you could tell a lot of thought and love went into the place. David was immediately available from the start and was able to accommodate an early check in for the holiday. The cabin was filled with extra amenities in the bathroom and kitchen, plenty of blankets and firewood and the view of the valley down below was spectacular! (Check out the amazing sunrises with the yoga mat provided to practice in front of the window) Just a short walk down the hill, there was a general store that made incredible organic foods and had the best hot spicy cacao I’ve ever had! The all adds up to the perfect experience I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to. Probably my favorite mountain getaway in Colorado thus far! Thanks for everything David!

Right in the heart of downtown Nederland, being able to walk less than a block to amazing coffee at Salto & delicious burgers with friendly service at the Covered Wagon Saloon made vacation life super easy! Gorgeous mountain views from the front porch were a wonderful way to start the morning. This hodgepodge of old miners cabins connected together were definitely one of the more interesting places we’ve stayed, but it worked out perfectly. 2 adults, 2 dogs and a toddler had plenty of room & our baby loved running around this ‘U’ shaped space. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast & dinner. And there were tons of blankets, pillows & towels. Overall a great spot & we had a blast!

This charming oasis was simply perfect! Not only was it super clean but the bonus of fresh ground coffee was a treat! Will definitely stay here again!!!

John's place was perfect for our weekend getaway. Everything was as advertised. It was within walking distance to Nederland which is a quaint town with great restaurants. The house was a 30-minute drive to several trailheads, so we were able to enjoy several hikes. John was a great host. Very proactive in his communication. Highly recommend!

So appreciated Emma’s accommodating our sensitivity to smells with the use of non toxic cleaning supplies, laundry soap etc Place was sweet and cozy Really enjoyed our stay and the sound of the stream right out the door.

This cabin was great! Family trip with my 3.5 year old grandson for 5 days. The house was immaculately clean and we had everything we needed, including extra bedding. Lots of soft blankets for sitting on the deck in the morning and evening. Nothing was an issue-we had plenty of water, WiFi and cartoons on tv most of the time. Enjoyed sitting by the river, fishing off the bridge, walking/hiking down the tracks to the train bridge and tunnel (great photo ops), Nederland is close and has cute shops (the guy at the mountain man shop is a hoot) restaurants (avoid that wagon wheel western one), and the carousel is awesome for kids and adults! Natalie was GREAT! Very responsive and helpful, and just plain nice. The only regret is that we didn’t see the bear that had been in the area, although we saw deer several times. And a moose on the road to Nederland. We would definitely stay here again if we come back this way! THANKS NATALIE for such a great trip—my family REALLY needed it!!

We loved this cozy cabin, and plan to stay again in the future! Easy drive to Estes Park for dinner and activities. Loved that we were able to bring our dog! He loves playing in the snow so the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog to easily go outside.
