Waterfront vacation rentals in Bocas del Toro Province

I had such a great experience my first time here back in May, I came back and stayed for another month leading up to the December holidays. What a special place. I hope I'm fortunate enough to return again at some point next year. Thank you Michel and Leidy for everything!

Raul was always helpful and responsive. The apartment is located in a strategic position, halfway from all the attractions of the island. Recommended!

Great location with a couple of restaurants easily walkable. Fantastic to have a pool and relax. Easy to get into town when required. Would definitely stay again!

Even better than the pictures. Scene, clean and comfortable. Excellent option to stay in bocas del toro. It has everything you need for your stay and the wifi is very fast. The hosts made a change of towels for us without our request. We would definitely book this place again.

Louise was very helpful and friendly. she made us fell right at home. 20 walk minute walk to town. and transport easy to find. close to groceries.

The location is incredible with great restaurants walking distance from the house. The view from the porch makes it really hard to leave. The sound of the ocean waves makes this place so incredibly peaceful!

Melanie’s home one Bastimentos is nothing short of picturesque. There is a porch with a comfortable daybed which was perfect for reading and listening to the waves. Melanie is also one of the best hosts I’ve interacted with on Airbnb—she’s very attentive and always helped us out when we needed. Kat downstairs was our point of contact for our trip and was also very helpful and friendly. The home is in a quiet part of Basti, but also very walkable. Getting water taxis from Basti to the other islands was extremely easy. The only thing to note that isn’t quite shown in the pics, is that the walls do not go up all the way to the high pitched ceilings, so all the rooms are open at the top. I assume this is for airflow in the house, however, the walls do not go all the way up in the bathrooms as well! There’s just a little bit less, ahem, privacy, so just keep this in mind!

We absolutely loved staying at this Airbnb. Was something we have never experienced before and we would love to come back again. Coffee in the mornings on the deck over the water was magical! Just a short walk to the grocery store was very convenient for us. The host was fantastic to deal with!

Leave your laptop behind and spend real quality time with your family or friends. The open space, views of the water and natural light invited my family to congregate and do just this. Leave your TV, stereo and alarm clock behind. Instead, watch the view, listen to birds, monkeys and wake up to the sound of waves. If this is what you want, you are guaranteed to have a wonderful time here. Lola was a kind, responsive and respectful host. And we are grateful to have had her help and the chance to stay in this place. We had a car so it was easy to move around, but you can also swiftly get a taxi if you want to go to town. There are a couple of places to have breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks within walking distance. We also took a boat tour of the islands, which can be organized and negotiated in town. There was good information for activities in the house. I highly recommend this place, especially if you are looking for a minimalist setting that maximizes relaxation and renewal.

Best place to stay in Bocas. It’s a bit old and basic, but all you need to have a good time. It’s the best bang for your buck. The Host Heather, makes you feel like home and is super responsive to all the questions you may have. From restaurants recommandations to taxi, she can help you. The outdoor patio setup is very nice. Grocery store within 5 minutes walk. I would recommend renting bikes to visit Bocas town, it’s a 25 minutes long stroll. 20 min walk from the airport. The kitchen is basic, but has what you need. Sunsets are really nice to watch from the patio. Directly over water. I will be back for sure!
