Treehouse vacation rentals in Bocas del Toro Province

I could not have imagined a more magical place to stay on Bocas del Toro. This beautiful casita is directly across the street from the beach, and yet also nestled up a hill, right in the rainforest. We could see and hear howler monkeys, in the tree across from us. The daybed was our favorite place to enjoy the sounds and scenery, from our vantage point in the trees. Heather and her daughter, Eva, were extremely nice and accommodating. They gave us recommendations and contacts to taxi drivers and tour guides. One of their dogs spent a lot of time with us and even accompanied us on our walk to the beach! Please, please, please, do yourself a favor and stay here. It is close enough to the main part of town, for you to go pick up groceries or visit the bar/restaurant scene, but far out enough for a peaceful, nature-filled escape.

If you want to spend few days in colorful jungle, this is a place for you. Dorien is an amazing host, taking care of chocolate Finca and all the guests with big passion. we stayed in XL Treehouse and it was an amazing experiences. We saw so many birds even from our treehouse, and all around us flowers, fruits, sloth and so many differet birds, also tucans. And chocolate tour was delicious and full of information. Amazing!!!

Our stay in Cocovivo was amazing. The reefs are beautiful, the island is beautiful and we had the opportunity to take a walk in this one with Leo who is a great guide. Melisa and Luciano are always available and very welcoming hosts. Check in and out was very well organized. The accommodations are very nice for a stay closer to nature: we were won over by Cocovivo and we will most certainly return on our next vacation in Panama.

Míriam has been an impeccable host, always ready to give good advice, it was easy to communicate with her. The corner that they mounted is proper those we expected, total immersion in nature, birds chants, clean as ever (all the islands have us schocked by the garbage there is everywhere), return to the chalets and feel at ease as if we were at our house has been super cool. We advise you to rent a motorbike to ungubrate the islands !!

Dorian little cabin in the wood was so nice! It is very comfortable, you feel like sleeping in the middle of the wood. Dorien family was welcomed to us, her kids are the best. We played cards with them and had fun! Dorien is also a very welcoming host, she explained us everything and took the time to chat with us :) the food is great, I’m vegetarian and I loved the options. I give 5 stars as everything was perfect! The only thing you have to be aware is that coming to this place might be a bit expensive (50$ per trip so 100$ go and back) , for small budget it might be difficult.

We really liked our stay at surf and chill, we had a lot of luggage so it was a bit far to walk there from the main dock, but once we were there it was great! It felt like we were one with the jungle, I loved to watch all the birds out the window in the shower! Very peaceful. Everything is pretty rustic, but thats what we wanted. My daughter loved the hamacs in the kitchen :) I would stay there again anytime!

We loved our stay at the treehouse. Beautiful area with a very nice pool. A really neat experience that I would highly recommend!

The house is definitely in the jungle on a very bumpy road. Very nice restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay there- Walter was very responsive to our needs. If you can’t stand bugs, I would not recommend staying here since it is in the jungle. But if you are ok with this, it’s an awesome experience to be out there with the monkeys, sloths and birds!
