Monthly Rentals in Birch Green

Lee & his family are really lovely . They made us feel extremely welcome, & nothing was to much trouble for them. The cottage its self is very comfortable & well maintained. Plenty of place's too walk the dogs. And the local shopping centre is only a 10 min walk away. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay . We will miss Joanne & Ellen the friends we made from the cottage next door.

We stayed here for ease as it was our mums funeral and we don’t live locally. I know the area from childhood so was easy to find and familiar. Sue was fabulous and communicated with me really well. No issues and I would stay here again if other occasions warrented it. Coming back after mums funeral and being able to relax and reflect in a very peaceful setting was perfect and just what we needed. Altogether a loving experience for a very sad and emotional occasion.

We had come to the area for a funeral, wanting somewhere comfortable to base ourselves for a week as we helped our friend through a loss, instead of being stuck in an unwelcoming hotel room. The bungalow was just that - spotless on arrival, comfy furnishings, plus a lovely garden to catch the sun in. It really felt like our own little home. It has a double driveway (which was helpful as we arrived separately) and has a selection of supermarkets a short drive away. The area is quiet, looks like a new development, and feels peaceful. Katy was very kind and communicative, and has made a lovely place to stay. I’ll be looking for it again the next time we visit.

The house was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated, with many handy utilities, all written in the description. It felt very cozy and homey, a place I wouldn't mind calling home myself and worth well over the odds on what we paid to stay for the few days. Perfect for a quiet retreat for those on foot, with some welcoming pubs nearby and a few takeaways and shops within walking distance. There's not a lot of things to do on the doorstep (as Jennifer warned us) however if you drive, do not be put off. There's lot's to do in nearby towns, only 20 minutes to a lot of great days out and we've all travelled further for less. Knowsley Safari Park, more than one rugby stadium, cinemas, bowling and lots more. As for the host, I'd say that if carlsberg did Airbnb hosts, they'd be just like Jennifer. Very proactive with communication and so friendly, making us feel right at home. Beyond grateful to have stayed and I definitely would again. I'd highly recommend that others do too.
