We had a lovely time--the location was great and the stay was exactly as advertised. A comfortable home to come back to after a day of adventures on the island!

Great place to stay! Mt Baker area was the main attraction for us, but there is so much more to experience (Nooksack falls, Maple falls). House is small but cozy, best thing is the fence around, so the doggos can go in and out of the house while you soak in the hottub! Thank you!

We fell in love with Guemes Island! We could not be more grateful to stay in such a wonderful and peaceful spot. We hope to visit The Woodpecker many more times over the years! Our 18 month old son had the time of his life playing on the beaches and coming home to such an inviting atmosphere. 1000 out of 10. Would recommend to any and all !

Beautiful setting, very comfortable modern cabin with heated floors and a wonderful covered hot tub. There was some freeway noise when outside but when the hot tub was on or when inside you couldn't really hear it.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully crafted cabin in the woods on Lummi Island. The space was artistically designed with thoughtful details throughout. It was also impressively well-equipped, making our stay both cozy and convenient. The cedar hot tub was a standout feature, perfectly placed among the trees with serene views of the water and surrounding mountains. It felt like our own private spa in nature. Lummi Island itself is a hidden gem, quiet, picturesque, and full of charm. The island’s natural beauty made every outing feel special, and we truly enjoyed soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy a stunning, artistic retreat in nature.

Stayed for a weekend, Great cabin in the forest! There is neighbours but nothing to worry about with lots of tree cover around. super peaceful and quiet. The cabin was in great shape and clean. The hottub on the deck is a great addition.

This little cabin was exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend trip to Lopez in January. The place was very easy to find with Ingrid's directions, the inside was clean and everything was easy to find. The bed was comfy and the hot tub was glorious. Ingrid was responsive and provided great recommendations for local restaurants. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Me and my boyfriend travelled from Kirkland WA, which is about 2 hrs away, to stay in the mountains and have some peaceful relaxation time. This place gave us just that, Maple Falls is a very tiny with very friendly people, it’s about an easy 45 minute drive to Mount Baker. The Airbnb was quiet, peaceful and clean, 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

The resort was really pretty, hosts were very responsive and really nice, the beds are very comfy, the kitchen well equiped. I really liked the camp fire and that there was a sauna. The place to get food is a bit far so bringing something to cook is a good idea. A very nice place to stay

We had a wonderful couple of days in the beautiful cabin in the woods with a gorgeous view of the bay. The hot tub was warm and waiting for us. Ashley and Brittany were very communicative and checked in with us often. We cooked in the kitchen and found everything we needed. Thank you!

Our stay at Scott’s place for our 1 year anniversary was absolutely perfect. We are so happy we chose to stay outside of downtown Friday Harbor & got to enjoy the island for 3 nights. We will be back to stay here again in the future. Amazingly cozy bed, perfect deck to enjoy morning coffee, sooooo peaceful (soul healing) and we felt so welcome at Scott’s cabin. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for light bites & snacks between meals (for us) with an adorable retro refrigerator. Highly recommend for anyone that is looking to enjoy downtown Friday Harbor + all of the surrounding spots on the island ( Roche Harbor, Westcott Bay Shellfish Farm, Cattle point Road/lighthouse, English Camp, etc). Each stop felt like a very easy drive, and we saw so much unexpected beauty. Thank you very much to Scott and his wife for the PERFECT stay.

Had a very peaceful stay at this place with amazing Mt. Baker in backdrop and also got to see the full moon in full glory against the sea water. One could enjoy the sunrise on a clear day which we did and to watch sunset it is a few mins drive and we enjoyed that as well. Overall a clean and cozy place to spend some quiet and peaceful time by the bay.

Came for a quick weekend getaway an hour from home. Was SO beautiful, so much room to explore. My dog and 5 year old were in heaven as we walked the trails even in the rain it was magical. We live in the country but this is next level, so many roads to walk and see. Saw a lot of deer, can’t wait to go back. It was spotless and cozy!

This place was even better in person. This was one our family’s favorite places we have stayed. The place is cozy and clean. The kids loved the loft where they slept. There are a lot of great hikes very close by. The property is in a great location. All the places we wanted to go were within a quick drive. I would highly recommend this place. We loved that we were able to bring our dog too.

I had a wonderful weekend stay at this charming cabin in Point Roberts. The cabin itself is very cute with modern, stylish decor that made it feel cozy and welcoming. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The internet worked perfectly, which was a great plus, but the real highlights were the outdoor amenities. I absolutely loved the hot tub – it was perfect for both peaceful mornings and relaxing evenings. The outdoor fireplace and seating area added such a beautiful and thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a peaceful, relaxing getaway and I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This was our second stay here. My husband and I, our kids, and grandkids love staying here! The house is great: very spacious, super clean and well-stocked. There was also plenty of hot water for all of us to take a shower when we came back from a day in the snow. We were surprised that we didn’t run out of hot water with all of those showers. There are several bonuses with the house: the trail to walk down to the river, the backyard sitting area and firepit, the front porch sitting area and back deck. We thoroughly enjoyed all of them. The location is convenient to several hiking trails and access to the Mt Baker ski area. Lindsey is a wonderful host who is pleasant and responds quickly to messages. We highly recommend this property! You won’t regret booking here!

Clean and comfortable for our family of 4. It had everything we need for a 2 nights stay. Amanda was very responsive and communicative throughout. When the wifi was down, they responded quickly and got it fixed right away.

My husband and I and our dogs had a lovely stay on Guemes Island! The cabin was just what we needed: peace and quiet and a great setting for napping and book reading. If you bring dogs, be sure to visit nearby Dog Woods aka Dog Heaven.

Loved staying at Rupa's for my son's 18th birthday snowboarding trip. Very clean and comfortable. Felt right at home with beautiful scenery out the sliding glass door. We love staying in the Sudden Valley area because of how beautiful the place is. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Sudden Valley.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spacious and thoughtfully arranged the cabin is—much more room than we expected, yet it still felt warm and inviting. One of our favorite features was the fireplace, which made the evenings feel extra cozy and relaxing. The Japanese-style bathtub was another standout—a perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. Everything was spotless, and it’s clear the owners take great care in maintaining the cabin to a high standard. Communication with William was smooth and helpful and the instructions provided made everything easy. All in all, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, and appreciated the little touches that made the cabin feel like a home away from home.

Absolutely amazing…. We booked our daughter’s stay here during a large Christmas family gathering on Samish Island and she absolutely LOVED this peaceful and tranquil seaside retreat. Perfect in every way. The best Airbnb we’ve ever rented !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great cabin for the weekend, a little confusing to find at first bc of GPS but super easy to get in and out after. The lighting is a little harsh and the bathroom situation js awkward and cramped but absolutely lovely cabin with great amenities and wonderful location. Love being steps away from the beach

Thank you Ben and Ashley! The instructions and everything were super clear from the get go so we didn't have to reach out much, but when we did they were super responsive and friendly. The place itself has tonnes of space but feels really homey and cozy by the lake. It's nice and quiet and Bellingham is just a stones throw away to drive to. The dog treats and little dog items made it feel really welcoming for us to bring our dog. Thank you! Hot water was great, modern finishes, plenty of towels and linens, you can walk in and feel right at home. Great spot if you're looking for a little getaway any time of year.
