Family-friendly vacation rentals in Bicheno

If you are looking for an amazing family retreat on the Eastern Coast then book this house now (if you can!). We cannot recommend it highly enough. We had brilliant communication and advice from Sally prior to arrival with lots of invaluable tips on making our stay better. The house is beautifully designed and immensely comfortable. I have never come across a better equipped kitchen in a B&B before. This is very clearly a family home and lots of love has gone into making it comfortable. Outside is truly special, with the most incredible ocean-front setting. The house is surrounded by the ocean on 3 sides, giving a constant backdrop of waves crashing on the shore. The ocean constantly changes colour mesmerically throughout the day, and is particularly spectacular at sunrise in front the house. The wildlife is amazing; wallabies, possums, eagles, swallows, plovers and cicadas. So much to see and do in the neighbourhood to fill your days - a week is not enough. Book it if you can!!

We enjoyed our stay at Coles Bay. The house has an incredible view. The location is excellent, it's close to the national park and shops. You can walk from the house to a local beach which is a lovely spot for swimming. We highly recommend staying here.

Thank you for hosting us. Very spacious cottage, kids loved the cottage and space around the cottage to ride their kick scooter. Reception staff and Rob are very responsive, attended to the bathroom door issue immediately. Eatery and bar in walking distance. Highly recommend Rob’s place! We will book in next time too when visiting the area.

A very relaxing, peaceful stay, the perfect spot to unwind. The place is beautifully handcrafted and a highlight was definitely the outdoor shower and bath amenities!

We absolutely loved our stay at St Helens. Trees from every window. Ocean glimpses from the deck out the back, where we could see the boats, and enjoy nibbles and BBQs. Huge backyard with grass and trees for kids to play. Amazing shower pressure, nice and hot. Such a good location to explore the local area and surrounds. Tomato sauce in the pantry was a life saver! Nice quiet street and enjoyed watching the birds and wallabies out the front each morning.

Our trip was short and sweet - but we wish we had booked longer! Location and accommodation was simply stunning, couldn't have asked for more. Lots of little touches that made us feel relaxed and in holiday-mode! Thanks for having us!

Amazing location and fantastic to be able to bring our puppa. The garden was safe and secure with a lovely deck. You can easily walk down to the beaches in the bay from the property. Very homely and a perfect place to spend a few days on the beach!

Great kitchen, bathroom and very comfortable beds. Situated in a great location as well. Great place.

Beautiful large, airy and spacious house . Views from both the bedroom windows and from the lower front deck. Fully fenced nice private yard, great for dogs! Lovely outdoor seating area on front and back verandas. Walking distance to the beach.

Catherine’s home is terrific: lovely, within walking distance of places to eat (we loved the RSL); the kitchen was NOT too small-there was plenty of room for both of us with a well-stocked pantry with olive oil, vinegar, a variety of spices, mustards…it is in easy driving distance of so many places to eat/see. We wouldn’t hesitate to say “just book it”. You’ll be glad you did

The perfect beach house! Stylish, well equipped, with a warm timber feel and stunning view. Had such a relaxed and welcoming feel … books, cd’s, dvds, .. so many extras. Great easy communication and check in procedure. Wished we could stay longer.

Absolutely awesome spot to stay. Very private on 200 Acres and great view of the water. Only upgrade I can think of would be to put a toilet in each ensuite instead of having 1 separate toilet but with just two couples it worked fine. Outstanding place to visit.

Five star stay all around. Incredible location within walking distance of Binalong Bay Beach and playground, spotless house, great kitchen, and super family friendly with books, games, and toys to amuse our two kids. The views from the property are amazing, and the street is super quiet. I also loved the layout of the house, with the living space on one end and the bedrooms on the other. Only note is that there's quite a few stairs to the front door which may be a problem if accessibility (or heavy luggage) is a consideration, but otherwise highly recommend and we would definitely stay again if we're ever in the area again.

Peace & Plenty truly fits it's name. The stunning location and views encourage relaxation. The house is very well appointed, from the kitchen to the artwork to the bookshelves.We loved picking vegetables from the garden to accompany our dinner. After a day spent sightseeing or enjoying the beach in front of the property, it was fun to come home to our own little indoor pool. Charmaine is an excellent host. A bottle of wine and a selection of condiments awaited us at check-in. She responds very quickly to any questions. After we checked out, we realized a piece of jewelry was left behind. Charmaine quickly had it located and arranged for it to be returned to us. We would definitely choose to stay here again if in Tasmania.

Branxholm Lodge is a fantastic place to stay and we will definitely be back again next year. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are well set up and the facilities are very clean and well set up for larger groups. Sam was very helpful with recommendations on local food spots, places to visit and local amenities. 5 star - very highly recommended!!!
