Guesthouse vacation rentals in Beruwala

This is the best villa in Sri Lanka. We rented the entire second floor of this building, which has two separate rooms with a private shower and toilet. We were very pleased with the spacious interior, king size beds, common area and kitchen. Sanjeewa and his family are the best host I have ever met. They helped us well with organizing our holiday. Big respect to you and your family. Highly recommend .10/10

Beautiful well-mainted place! Will definitely recommend! The perfect distance from the hustle and bustle. Just enough that you have nature-like peace around you, but also close enough that it doesn’t take long to dive into the lovely beaches and restaurants. Thanks housemanager Sahan especially! Since the first second in which I arrived in Astro Villa, I’ve felt like at home. The house has everything that I need and the sweet family that rent it has been so kind with me, making sure that nothing was missing. The photos perfect represent the place and everything is tidy and clean. The position it's amazing: five minutes walk from the beach and shops. It is also possible to do a laundry and let your clothes dry in the garden. I would suggest this place to any friend. I really loved the time that I’ve spent here.

I had a wonderful one-month stay at the Kurulu Gardens! The house was lovely – spacious and beautiful. It was very high under the nice wooden ceiling, which kept the air inside cool (relatively! meaning the sun doesn't heat the place up. The temperature is typically around 27-29 degrees celsius unless you turn on the AC in one or both of the bedrooms) and fresh inside. The porch is absolutely fabulous: it is made in good taste and faces a wonderful luscious well kept back garden that the house has all to itself. The kitchen has fairly simple standard, but is well equipped. The bathroom is good and functional: apart from toilet, sink and shower it has a great washing machine and a drying rack. The place was clean and very well furnished. Some of the furniture shows some age, but is nice and in good taste – in light of the prize, I found it all to be excellent value. The owners and staff crowned the experience: they were all absolutely wonderful – helpful, friendly, very sweet people.

We had the best 3 weeks in Sri Lanka thanks to Keith and Davey. They are the best hosts and most welcoming in their beautiful home and surroundings. We couldn’t have been happier. Their recommendations on lovely restaurants, beaches to visit and activities to do were exceptional. We especially enjoyed their wonderful pool overlooking the paddy fields. Such a great place to relax and take in the beautiful view. We loved it that much we are already planning our return to Lomond House.

Wonderful family that was very helpful and cared for us well. Their son took us on a beautiful boat trip to the river to see the wildlife. He made sure we got there safe and took us to a recommend restaurant after. Breakfast was beautifully laid out for us when we woke up everyday. The eldest daughter does a great cooking class that we unfortunately could attend as we were moving onto Mirissa that day. Room was perfect in their lovely grounds. When you stay at Gypsy Gardens guest house, you feel like your part of the family ❤️

My six-day retreat at Sanara Villa in Weligama was a genuinely pleasant experience. The villa’s tranquil, green ambiance created a perfect space for relaxation, and its strategic location offered easy access to Weligama's renowned surf spots and nearby attractions like Midigama and Mirissa. The well-equipped kitchen and reliable Wi-Fi were particularly appreciated, making it comfortable for both leisure and remote work. The villa's peaceful atmosphere, combined with its proximity to lively coastal areas, struck a perfect balance. It’s an excellent choice for anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient stay in southern Sri Lanka.

The apartment is located on the top floor, very spacious, which sometimes we could even lose each other, also there are two large bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony surrounding the whole house. The kitchen has all the amenities for cooking, including a microwave, oven, rice cooker, toaster, indispensable blender for smoothies, and more. It is worth noting that the apartment has fiber optic internet, there is a working space with a comfortable chair and a monitor. Hosts, Rangi and Lakmal, deserve special gratitude. These incredibly kind and caring people were always there to help. Rangi often treated us to delicious homemade food, which was a nice and unexpected bonus. Lakmal once quickly and efficiently helped us fix the problem with our car, which helped us a lot. This house is definitely suitable for longer stays. It is comfortable, peaceful and has everything you need to feel like home. The care of the hosts made our trip special!

First of all, I liked the location, a very nice beach, close to everything you need, cafes, restaurants, coffee shops, a store, a pharmacy, a hospital and even a police station. Very nice and kind, not intrusive hosts. We were worried that the train and the temple would interfere with our vacation, but we did not hear the temple ever, and the train only during the day, but it drove so quickly that we did not always understand that it was him. Very friendly hosts, treated us to coconuts and bananas, it was a pleasure.
