We had such a great stay! Tanya’s place was comfortable and relaxing and very kid friendly. We had a vehicle, so location was perfect and everything we needed was within driving distance. The place was so clean and cozy. Tanya was so great and easy to work with and responded so quickly with any questions I had. I’d recommend Tanya’s place to anyone traveling with kids or a big group! Great AirBnB. Hosts are kind & very responsive. The space itself is very comfortable. Supermarket, laundry, dry cleaning, Walgreen's are about a 10 or 15 minute walk. There is a nature trail a few blocks from there which is near a large park (Marine Park) Literally 5 minutes away are a Deli which makes sandwiches, salads, and carries a very good selection of groceries, pizzeria, Italian restaurant, and large park (Marine Park) Another steakhouse is a 10 minute walk. Location is very close to public transportation. Local bus -B31 takes you to the subway on Kings Highway and there the trains take you to the famous Coney Island or to Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx. ThThe current fare is $2.90 there is also an Express Bus (BM4) which runs every day except Sunday & holidays which takes you into Manhattan. Current fare is $7? I think you can add an app to your phone to charge fares to a credit card -check with MTA (for info & schedules) and OMNY .

I had a great long-term stay at Fran’s. The place was as advertised, walking distance to metro with lots of decent restaurants and supermarkets around the area. It’s convenient and private - highly recommended for solo travelers or couples looking for a spot to rest and chill during their time in NYC. I’m not new to NYC and I think this place is the perfect representation of what life in NYC feels like for most people.
