Monthly Rentals in Benamejí

It was a luxury weekend. Wonderful house in the countryside surrounded by olive and holm oaks, quiet and without noise, but with all the comforts of a 5-star hotel, nice central heating throughout the house, a real treat, lots of hot water pressure in the shower, wonderful mattresses and pillows. In addition, the house has a very nice and cozy decor, full of details from the host. Huge kitchen with all the features and a large dining table. The outside of the house invites you to relax and share meals with long after-dinner conversations, although it also has foosball in case you feel like a few games. We were 5 friends and it was hard for us to leave because we were so comfortable. We took nice walks inside the property and even at night to see the stars. We have promised that at least once a year we will return to discover the thousands of hiking trails nearby, as well as the villages recommended by Amanda.

This place offers a LOT of value for a low price and the owner is a kind man. It is quiet, like all the other reviews already said (I'm sensitive to noise, that's why I chose this listing!) with barely any traffic. There aren't any direct neighbors next door either so you don't hear the typical neighbor sounds. I have to warn you that rural Spain does have an endemic problem with barking dogs, even at night, but in this house you only hear them from farther away, so it's ok. You could always buy some earplugs if necessary. I always sleep with earplugs in my life in general. In my review, I really want to highlight that in this village, you can get almost anything you'd ever need on foot. It's a 2 minute walk to a small market, cafes and a restaurant, a 4 min walk to a supermarket, and a big supermarket is 10 min max. 2 more things: English is rare in Luque, and you should still have a car. I had no car, for tourism that's not optimal. I already miss the calm village atmosphere..

The apartment was just perfect for getting out of the city for a quiet few weeks. Dolores and her family were so kind, and via messages, checked in that I had everything I needed several times (my stay happened during a very unusual cold and rainy storm). It was an easy distance to drive to Granada over the weekend and there are several other smaller villages to explore nearby. The apartment had everything I needed to live and remotely work for the two weeks.

My experience was to my total liking and true to the host's description. An excellent person, always attentive. I recommend it 100%
