Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Bega Valley Shire Council

A stunning and spacious house, fully equipped with all necessities and very clean. Gabi is highly proactive and responsive in her communication, and we appreciated her recommendations for stops while driving down the south coast. The view from the balcony is lovely. Thank you for hosting us, Gabi.

Oh my goodness! What a stunning place to stay for 7 nights! It had absolutely everything we needed for a fun, nature-filled, family holiday: direct access to the lake to paddleboard and fish, a huge grassy area to run around and play, walks through to the beach...and of course close proximity to everything that beautiful Bermagui and Narooma have to offer (cafes, mountain bike parks, beaches, supermarkets). But probably the element that made the stay so perfect was Rachel and Brian's authentic and genuine friendliness and warmth. We were greeted with beautiful smiles and welcomes... and a plate of delicious treats to enjoy after unpacking too. Everything felt so homey and comfortable. The beds were perfect, the kitchen so well stocked (the best we've ever had!), and the outdoor area complete with a fire pit to toast marshmallows on. We will definitely be back! We are already missing the serenity and kangaroos :) Thank you so much Rach and Brian for having us.

amazing and extraordinary place. Almost in the heart of the forest, with these surprising noises and an intense animal life. Birds more than active, small kangaroos (wallabies !?) curious and friendly. A very nice cottage, very personal. A place not to be missed in a very pretty region !!! Highly recommended

We had a fabulous stay at Karen’s amazing cottage. We loved the glassware, the bath, the fireplace and the cosy living room. The weather was rainy and cold when we were there but that only added to the atmosphere. On the first day we had a fine afternoon which we spent on comfortable chairs in the gorgeous garden. Candelo is a pleasant village with a great cafe. We loved it!

Our stay at Anthea’s was beautiful and absolutely perfect. On arrival, we were greeted by Anthea and her lovely pup Macy, welcoming us to her home and providing wonderful local recommendations. The home was stunning, and we really felt at home. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, while being close enough to neighbouring towns and beaches to explore (thanks to the recommendations provided!). There is a nice size fenced dog run outside the master bedroom which made us confident to leave our pup when needed, and plenty of beautiful space for him to explore on the property when supervised with us. Thank you Anthea for the wonderful stay, and we would definitely love to stay again in future!

Easily my favourite Airbnb stay to date ~ do yourself a favour & book this sanctuary without another thought! Joe & I escaped here together for our New Years break and it was everything you could imagine for a Snowy Mountains escape. And more! Magic overload x

A Divine Stay at the Converted Church Our stay at this beautifully converted church was nothing short of heavenly. The property exudes a unique charm, blending historic architecture with modern comfort. Nestled in peaceful, picturesque surroundings, it was the perfect sanctuary. A pristine creek just a couple of minutes' walk away added to the tranquil experience. The amenities were top-notch, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a tranquil and enchanting getaway.

The cottage is beautiful, very serene with a lovely backyard. Saw a lot of native birds, too. Quite little neighbourhood. Prime location with shops and eateries at walking distances. Would definitely recommend this place to have a have a relaxing weekend. Annie is a lovely host!

We had a lovely, restful time. The Bellbird song and birdlife was fabulous! An added bonus was the fresh eggs, bread and garden produce. Shannon and Gary were excellent hosts.
