I’d highly recommend The Hayloft. The property exceeded our expectations and the pictures really don’t do it justice. The space was warm, comfortable and everything we needed was provided. The bathroom is really lovely, well lit ( a real bonus in my opinion as so many bathrooms have terrible lighting), the bath is deep and comfortable, the shower powerful with plenty of hot water. The bed was very comfortable too. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. We loved the location which is really peaceful and set in beautiful countryside. There are walks directly from the property and it was a joy to see the goats, pigs and chickens in the barn nearby. A really lovely bonus was to have delicious local bread, homemade jam and mince pies, biscuits,milk and butter provided. There was also a bottle of champagne , festive flowers and a lovely little Christmas tree which made it all the more special.

We had a lovely stay at Sue’s. The accommodation was exactly as described. Would definitely recommend

Gail and Mark’s house is beautiful and situated in a very quiet street in the middle of Oakham. It’s a short walk to the high street where there are a selection of pubs and shops. The house itself is beautifully maintained and has everything we needed for our weekend stay. It was warm and welcoming, just what was needed on a very cold weekend.
