Monthly Rentals in Ballycurrin

We’ve been traveling Europe for 6 months, and this was our all-time favorite stay! We got to spend Christmas at the cottage, and Pat and Mary made us feel right at home. We were greeted with scones and fires and Christmas decorations, and both Pat and Mary went out of their way to look after us and provide wonderful, local recommendations. We enjoyed visiting them at their bookshop-cafe and getting to know them throughout our stay. The cottage is incredibly cozy - comfortable beds and couches with two, large fireplaces - and the location itself was ideal. The kitchen is very well-supplied, and the showers were always warm. We could get into Galway city easily, or head deeper into Connemara to explore the Irish landscapes. Oughterard is a lovely town, and it had great restaurants and grocery shops and (of course) the bookshop-cafe! Highly recommend!

Margaret is an amazing host and the house is fabulous! We all felt right at home, the place was very clean, cosy, had everything we needed and was very warm and comfortable.

I loved my stay at Mary's place. Lots of good recommendations for nearby activities, in a month I did not even had the time to do everything. But no need to go far, the forests of Cong and Clonbur are magical. The hosts are friendly, discreet, and very respectful of privacy, and very helpful. The dogs are adorable and welcome every time you arrive, happy to see you again as if you were part of the family. The accommodation is impeccable, convenient, everything is there and with a sublime view of the lake. The original hug touched. i recommend this place with all my heart

The feeling of being in a fishing lodge, both rustic and elegant in a lovely village immersed in a pristine nature , starting from the tap water . Traces of culture and chance if relaxation to detox from modern lifestyle . Friendly locals and pubs and lots to do walking distance, lakes shores, and , within one hour scenic drive to a Caribbean looking beach , had fab dip in the ocean .
