We had a wonderful stay at the place. We were very happy with everything from the smooth check-in to how the caretaker looked out for our needs. The place was extremely clean, it was a home away from home. We were comfortable all the time and had everything that we needed. If you’re looking for the ultimate stay in La Union, A Lofts is unbeatable. The view? Truly the best—you get an incredible vantage point of both surf breaks. Whether you’re a surfer or just someone who loves the ocean, waking up to this view is a dream. Location-wise, it’s perfectly situated right next to La Union Coffee and surrounded by amazing restaurants and bars, making it super convenient to grab a bite or soak in the local vibe. The space is as clean and tidy as a well-maintained hostel, but with a vibe that feels far more personal and welcoming. The real highlight, though, is Ana, the host. She’s simply amazing—kind, friendly, and always responsive. Her care and attention made our stay unforgettable, and she went out of her way to ensure we had the best time possible. If you’re after great vibes, a killer location, and a host who truly cares, A Lofts is the spot. Highly recommended!

Nothing's perfect, but Grace's place (Balai San Juan) is a perfect spot to stay in San Juan. Perfect for family & barkadan. Having a pool is a plus factor for the kids. Kuya Ferdz is very helpful in all aspects. Highly recommended.

The place was so nice, a great place to stay. We enjoyed our stay with our family and relatives, so peaceful and comfortable place. Very nice HOME to stay esp. staying at Cabana and kids enjoyed their jacuzzi pool as well. We enjoyed cooking with their complete kitchen utensils, griller and enjoyed their ice maker with our halo halo., PERFECT! Leandro, the host and the owner is so nice as well, he respond to all our inquiries. He is so considerate also. The caretaker Russel also is so nice. Thanks Manilokanos HOME!💕

Ms. Charo's place is highly recommended for big groups that intend to have a relaxing and fuss-free stay in LU away from the bustling center. The rooms were clean, everything was organized, utensils were complete, and the host/caretakers offered a seamless communication experience. They were very hands-on, ensuring guests had the best stay possible, even going above and beyond during power outages. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely visit again.

Richmond’s place is great for a large group. The common area is spacious. There is no direct airflow in the living area but the air from the ocean in the kitchen is comfortable enough. The direct access to the beach is very cute. We can access the beach but the place is secured. Their housekeeper is very good in giving instructions. Thank you very much.

It's worth it. The place is clean and has a quite neighborhood. The beach is just a few steps away. we had a magical moment while we were watching the sunset. it was very beautiful. we will surely book again.

The price is definitely worth it. It's cheap so don't expect much, but it really is a good place to stay at - you will have all the basic things you need - a comfortable place to sleep in, aircon, drinking water, a ref, bathroom, kitchen. Since we also got the Penthouse unit, the living room was super spacious - perfect for hanging out with friends. There was just some occasional barking hear in the wee hours of the night (between 1-5am), but it's ok. There is also parking, and it's right by the beach, so it's really relaxing. Really the best value for money!!!

Surfstar Is highly recommendable. Provided with all the necessary amenities and clean and quality furnitures. We are accommodated by Ms Mylene not only with warm welcome and hospitality but also she is the most friendliest and cool host we had. We enjoyed our stay, had the most relaxing time in ELYU because of the perfect spot of Surfstar. With beautiful beach access right in front and a 100% ideal vibe for us. Bonus of the sweetest Grover (her pet) that keeps us company time to time in the kubo (we miss you Grover!!!!!) The place is located nearby - literally few steps from cafés and restos with good food. The place is secured all throughout the day and night. No noise from neighboring parties. This will be definitely our constant place to stay in ELYU on coming months for vacay/quick trip.

Love the place and location! Not near any supermarket but they have several sari sari stores around the area, they also have a pool you can swim at if you don’t want to go to the beach. They accommodated us with our request of late check out as well! Place was spacious and quiet, and when it came to our requests, they would immediately attend to us. Place is 10 minute tricycle ride away from San Juan Beach but there are tricycles passing by. Recommend this place!! Definitely will book again if planning to come back to LU.

We had a great stay. The staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. The location was a bit confusing and the road was unpaved, but it offers a very private and serene place to relax. Overall, we would be booking again next year, since we were pressed for time to visit any of the local spots.

Very easy and flexible with check in and check out. The place was great, so handy to have 2 bathrooms working. Everything you need for cooking is in the kitchen too. There were great restaurants nearby and some local attractions are a few minutes away. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful stay at Constance’s place! The location was perfect—super central and close to everything. It’s just a short walk to Session Road, where you’ll find tons of great restaurants. Burnham Park is also nearby, making it easy to enjoy a relaxing stroll. The place itself was cozy and comfortable, and the chilly weather during my visit made the lack of AC no issue at all. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better spot to stay! Would definitely recommend.
