Vacation rentals with a pool in Arco da Calheta

We had a really lovely stay at Villa Limoeira. The villa is beautiful and spacious, and the views were amazing. The area is quiet and peaceful, which made for a relaxing stay and it was easy to find the villa by car. There were lots of little touches that made the villa lovely, blankets...hairdryer...straighteners etc, and the garage gym and table tennis were good for the more rainy spring days. The villa is close to Calheta which was lovely to visit, and we explored some of the recommendations by our hosts which were great, and made finding places so much easier. We really appreciated the info to guide us around Madiera. We had a wonderful stay here and would definitely stay again if we visited Madiera in future, highly recommend!

Fantastic place in a beautiful valley, with incredible view of the ocean, banana plantations and a beach nearby. Anibal is an amazing host, and the place is a gem. The garden with greens is only helping make this place even better. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, the place, the host and the views! Thank you!

It was the best place I've ever rented from Airbnb. Everything was as in the photos. Very quiet. The pool and ocean views are amazing. Spacious bedrooms with bathrooms. Very clean. Snow-white linen. It is not recommended to be here without a car. But, if you like walking, probably you will enjoy. It was very interesting to check neighborhood. We walked around a little bit. Very secure. If you see someone around, it's only local people. They are very friendly. I never seen homeless or beggars around our place. I can confirm, that you will not find any unfriendly people on this island. Tennis and billiard tables will not make you bored. There was practically no wind. The island exceeded our expectations. We won't go to Tenerife again. Orlanda was great. We are ready to return to any of her homes. Orlanda helps with some my questions about Madeira. She is number 1. Thank you for your hospitality.

The best Airbnb stay we've been to. We were two families, 10 people in total including big teenagers, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house is a charming old villa, with heated pool, views and walking distance to the city center. We couldn't have wished for more. Antonio is the perfect host, was quick and helpful as shortly before our holiday there were issues with our booking (which we were to blame for ourselves). Top recommendations from here.

Cozy home with all the necessary equipment for comfortable living. The house is in a quiet location, yet farther from the town, so a car is essential. I really liked the grilling area and the terrace with a fireplace for cozy evenings.

We had a wonderful week stay at Ana Paula’s house in Porto Da Cruz. The house is perfect and the kids loved swimming in the pool in February. The location is fantastic with lots to do nearby. Ana Paula is a great host and was always very attentive. We would return without hesitation!

Nelson's house exceeded our expectations, and we immediately felt at home. The pool is in the sun from about 12-5pm, which is ideal for relaxing during the day. The driveway is a bit narrow, but easily accessible with a "normal" car. The stay is perfect for four. One day, however, we had the problem that the garage door didn't close. We then called Nelson's brother, and within two hours he came by and fixed the gate. A small negative point was that the beds were a little too small for our taste.

Daniela's apartment was top of the range! She gave us very detailed instructions how to get there. The views from the apartment and the pool area were really really nice. It was nice to catch the rays of the morning sun on your own balcony and from the pool area you could enjoy the sunset night after night. The apartment had cooling and heating, the beautiful scenery, a perfect bed and everything from a Netflix TV to a coffee machine. Everything was clean and quiet. We will come again!

We had a very nice stay in Adriana's apartment. It felt like we were the first. Clean and cozy, modernly furnished. The location is great and the amenities except for a dishwasher perfect. The only personal preferences would be softer mattresses. We also always found a parking space in front of the apartment. The pool is also great for relaxing after a trip. Thank you. We will be happy to come back.

Had a wonderful stay at José and Maria’s apartment. The apartment was spotlessly clean and fresh, large and spacious and had everything you could need. The location was brilliant with a bus stop right outside for easy access to the town and stunning views from the balcony. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Chayanne is an attentive and kind host who went out of his way to make our stay extra comfortable, and gave us useful recommendations for our trip. The flat is peaceful and spacious and has everything you need; great selection of crockery, knives and pans, and one could easily stay a month here comfortably. There is a decent sized pool and a cosy balcony to enjoy the views. I highly recommend this place and I hope to come back here next time!

Kitchen Good equiped, everything you´ll need. Only the pans should be better stainless. Living Area Super comfy with table seating six, ample sitting space on sofa and chairs as well Bedrooms Super comfy beds, as it is often the case only one bed sheet for both sides. The desk is great but designed for people of less then 1.8m height. Bath Hot water, great shower, good bathtub. Parking garage Compared to lots of other buildings very spacious and easy in and out Pool area Unheated but quite warm pool, very nice area surrounding it. Small playground with some exercise equipment for sports as well. Surroundings Good location which is super quiet at night for Funchal standards, during the day some noise from the school and sport hall. Didn´t disturb me at all even when I did work remotely. Other Wifi was top notch, TV big and HDMI cable was available, AC was great, cleaning was superb and communication with hosts was hasslefree, easy and helpful.

We had the most beautiful week here in February. The apartment was perfect - we loved sitting outside and watching the sunrise across Funchal. It was super peaceful but also very close to local restaurants and a supermarket. Everything was exactly as described and we will certainly be back!
