House was amazing! The fireplace was a plus. You would never know it is pet friendly because of how clean the house was. Smelled wonderful too. Definitely recommend.

What a lovely stay! Its rare to find an Airbnb that feels like a true home share, but Sydney’s farmstead retreat did just that. It was cozy and welcoming, as well as stocked with extra linens/towels and cooking essentials. This location is a short 10 minute drive to downtown Clayton.

Shannon and Steve were incredible hosts, and their place was amazing! We snuck away for a much-needed break, and this place was warm, cozy, and provided a great place to recharge! Our kids absolutely loved the woods, farm, and animals! Being able to have them see all of that up close, was a tremendous perk! If you are thinking of staying, do it! The close proximity to "town" is a nice perk as well. We will definitely be back!

If you are looking for a Hampton Inn experience this place is not for you. This is an honest working homestead. We visited during the winter so the raised vegetable beds were at rest and porch plants were dormant, however the rooster sang some beautiful songs while I sat on the porch during an early morning rain. This is my kind of place. I would have loved to meet our host Jill, to talk about her homestead, but she was away that weekend.
