Houseboat vacation rentals in Amager

It was such a unique stay! It is definitely an elevation of the experience to an already phenomenal city to visit. Absolutely would love to stay there again!

Eva’s house boat in Copenhagen is food for my soul. This is our second stay and it was just as cozy as last time. You feel like you are on an adventure even if you are just enjoying a cop of hot cocoa and playing cards while you watch tour boats and pedestrians go by. We will be back. Thank you for having us! Phenomenal home in a magical setting! The Royal Danish Opera house and it's beautiful little garden are literally next door neighbors! Hart Holman, featured in The Bear, had our morning coffee and amazing pastry waiting less than a block away. Just a couple blocks to the pedestrian/bike bridge that lands you right on the entrance to in the iconic Nyhaven. More great museums than we could visit were within walking distance as well as at least four or five Christmas markets. The houseboat was great for our trip with one bedroom for my husband and myself and another for our friend. As this was the second week of our trip, we were very grateful for the washer/dryer. Compact but everything needed for an amazing first stay in Copenhaven. Malte is a very generous host who met us when we arrived so that we were very comfortable with our stay. Wouldn't suggest for anyone with real mobility issues as the ramp/steps down to the houseboat were not for novices, but INCREDIBLE stay overall!

We loved our stay on the Cocoon house boat and wish we could have stayed longer! The bus stop nearby takes you into the city and there is lots within walking and biking distance. Many tourist boats run up and down the canal during the day but we enjoyed waving at everyone 🌞

I stayed on Martin and Elise's houseboat with my 3 sons. We had everything we needed and the boat was clean and tidy. Martin and Elise were so hospitable and really went the extra mile to ensure we had a good time (early check in/late check out, drinks in the fridge etc). The location is very quiet and peaceful (sit in the hammock and watch the ducks go by for ultimate relaxation) but you can still get into the centre either by bus or harbour bus (i.e. the water bus which goes from just outside Copenhagen Opera House). I downloaded the DOT app and paid for all journeys online which made things very easy. The airport is around 30 mins away by Metro (M2) & then bus (2A), then a short walk. I highly recommend you try out this accommodation if you're looking for something a little different and enjoy calm and peaceful surroundings.

We had a fantastic stay. The location is wonderful to enjoy Copenhagen from a different point of view and for the kids is a wonderful experience

We had a great stay at Toke and Barbara’s place. The boathouse is so comfortable and unique. We had everything we could need and more during our 3 day visit. Highly recommend

Morten was a great host. he was always available to ansqer my calls. he was friendly , well orhinized . most importantly boat was as discribed , reminded local customs and living great trip overall

We had a lovely weekend at their absolutely amazing beach house. It was wonderfully quiet and we enjoyed the beautiful sunrise and view. Everything was clean and tidy and really cozy with incredibly good taste. It was a really wonderful experience to stay on the water and hear the waves, as well as being able to enjoy the Sound. Would definitely recommend this lovely place and we will definitely be back.
