Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Altenberg

Cozy house in a great location We felt very comfortable and happy that we were allowed to bring our dog. There is a sauna, the living room is very cozy, the terrace and the garden are nice and sunny and the location perfect for us. Just a few small things we wanted to note. The bedrooms couldn't be darkened. Extra curtains would be a great thing here. The bathroom smelled unpleasant due to an open washing machine. We were able to get a grip on this through a rubber glove. The lower sled of the dishwasher is broken, so it was difficult to load. Unfortunately, there was no wifi in the lower bedroom Apart from these little things overall a recommended and very cozy accommodation due to the underfloor heating and the cozy sofa, which is especially great for dog owners due to the proximity to the NSG mining ground. Thank you for this, if we are in the area again we will be happy to come back.

I was with friends for a weekend in the house and we had a really nice time. Check-in and checkout worked flexibly. The views and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. I would gladly come back.

Michael's house was an ideal starting point for our weekend hikes, 10 min to the ferry and right on the way to the bastion. Thanks to perfect kitchen equipment with large pots, oven, knives, cutting boards, etc., our 7-person group was able to prepare meals (including the porcini mushrooms found nearby) and eat at the large oval table. Large bright bathroom, cozy beds. We enjoyed it.

We spent a wonderful week in the historic half-timbered house on the farm. The chestnut tree shone in all autumn colors. Below is a cozy fire and barbecue area with seating. The large fireplace with two panes (kitchen and hallway) heats the whole house in a short time. The kitchen is very well equipped with many spices, oils, vinegar, etc. Everything is lovingly decorated. There was nothing missing.

We stayed 3 nights in the accommodation and made excursions to Bohemian Switzerland from there. The house was clean and cozy. There was even a fireplace and our dog was also welcome. I highly recommend it!

The house offers everything you need for a relaxing break. The communication with Florian was also fantastic - helpful, quick and straightforward. We had a very relaxing time and were able to enjoy the tranquility of the place very much. Many people are not here, at least in the off-season. The house has a very special charm and immediately gave us a feeling of home. Our personal highlight was the fireplace in the living room, which provided cozy warmth and a cozy atmosphere – the perfect place to end the evenings relaxed.

We had a wonderful, relaxing week in this cozy apartment. An open space concept, state-of-the-art appliances with refurbished, old wooden furniture, harmonious decor and everything sparkling clean. This was the first apartment where we felt totally comfortable immediately and the entire time. Thank you. We'll be back.

Been there for the second time and excited again! Great decor with lots of loving details, the living room with the huge couch is super nice to linger. A perfect space for a week(-end) with big family or friends! Only small point deduction: a bedroom is very "open" without a door and cannot be completely darkened. Otherwise everything is perfect, the bedding smells heavenly 🫠

The apartment was very nice and very clean and well equipped. Location was excellent. Communication was very friendly and very fast and very accommodating.

Super nice hosts, very eager to meet any requests. 😊 Everything was also nicely decorated for Christmas and prepared for me love. We were warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable.

There were 9 of us in the accommodation. The house is great and offers everything you need. 3 different grills are available (smoker, Weber and open grill bowl). Multiple showers and toilets make it much easier when traveling with a large group. The house has several rooms with 3 or 2 beds. The view of the canal is awesome. I highly recommend booking the place along with the bar. The bar is awesome. Plenty of space, music system, projector, TV, stage, light music and a beer tap are provided. This takes barbecuing in the evening and partying together to a new level:) Right in front of the house there is plenty of free parking available for easily 7-10 cars. Nearby (max 5-10 minutes by car) there are many. Grocery shopping from well-known supermarkets. Michal is a friendly, helpful and a great host. We will be happy to come back! Thank you

We spent New Year's Eve in Villa Weigend and felt comfortable right from the start. The house was clean and warm, the rooms are stylish and cozy. We were there as a group, 6 adults and 3 young children, and we had plenty of space. A highlight is the converted attic, which gave the children plenty of space to play and move. By car, you can quickly reach some great hikes all around, and there are also many restaurants nearby. However, you are car-dependent. But you have your peace and quiet on site and can relax very well in the house.

The house is identical as shown in the photos and it is a nice, quiet location in the fall. The staff is friendly at the reception and answers all questions. The accommodation was clean as we are also used to from the previous accommodations. Gladly come back.

We had a great time at Gabriela’s. The old villa and the surroundings are picturesque, the room and the kitchen are very comfortable and she was very caring by providing the fire at the fireplace at the end of every cold day I spent hiking with my two sons. Recommend to anyone.

I stayed over New Years Eve at the beautiful house with my family and we loved it. we had a great time and loved the neighborhood.
