Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Alger County

This was the perfect place to stay for our ice climbing trip! It was close to everything we needed/wanted and was dog friendly. I would recommend to others staying in the area!

My stay in The Whitefish Lodge worked out great. I brought a group of 11 to go snowmobiling. Our first reservation needed to be rescheduled and our host was very accommodating. The lodge and parking are perfect for a large group. Everyone had their own space, with plenty of bathrooms, and we could all come together for meals in the great room. We would stay again.

Great place and highly recommemded. Everything we needed plus a whole lot more. Was exactly as advertised. Contact (Molly) was helpful and with all the fresh snow, we were happy to have the driveway cleared for our early morning departure. Will definately rent again.

Appreciated being close to town but just a little bit outside. It was a great launching-off place for outdoor adventures.

This is a great location close to downtown Grand Marais. Well appointed and roomy house great for our group of 5. Having 2 bathrooms is very nice. Snowmobiling from here is easy as long as there's been snow recently. Parking for big trailers was a little challenging, however off-site parking options nearby were extended by the host. Would be a perfect spot for 3 couples or a small family. Definitely keep this location in mind for future trips and have recommended to others.

Great place to stay on our snowmobile trip. Loved the heated garage. It sure made it nice to work on sleds and thaw them out. Would definitely stay again

We had such a nice stay here and the home was beautiful with all of the snow! The location isn’t far from the trails either. Kendra was very quick to respond with any questions we had. Our large group would love to return!

Great place! We stayed for a snowmobile trip and the cabin is easy to reach the trails from. Super clean cabin and lots of parking for trucks & trailers. We will be back.

We loved this place. It was a great fit for our family. The backyard was peaceful and beautiful. It was close to Munising and all the things we wanted to do. Mark was a great communicator. The house had everything we needed. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to spend time in the UP.

The place was nice and peaceful. It was clean and looked exactly like the photos. We definitely recommend this place if you need a getaway and love to go hiking and explore new places.

Tidy, organized, and just enough. Communication was great. Everything was well labeled. We couldn’t find bedding for the futon and my phone died with no charger. Central heater, bedrooms can be chilly. Nest is nice but the temp was a tad low and my kiddos were chilly in the bedroom. We bumped it up before bed but only stayed elevated for about an hour. Stayed two nights and explored the deep winter from where the roads closed for season to the sugarloaf mountains. Great little hidden cabin. Very happy with our stay.

What a perfect getaway for our family! The home is beautiful and we loved being able to sit on the balcony to drink coffee on the crisp fall mornings. There was plenty of wood for bonfires with ample outdoor seating. The fully stocked kitchen allowed our family to continue to enjoy homecooked meals while on vacation. We would love to stay here again when back in the area. The private secluded property judt adds to the experience. By the way, the prproperty is gorgeous in the fall. 10/10 recommend.

Great place for a family. We came here in February so didn’t get to use the pool but the view was beautiful and the house was warm and cozy.

Awesome place. Stayed here with 4 adults and 3 kids for snowmobiling. Great trail access, homey feel, nailed all of the little extras and everyone enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of riding. Thanks Matt!

Great place to stay for a relaxing weekend! Owner was very responsive and set the cabin up with everything we needed! It was quiet and peaceful, we saw lots of deer while enjoying the hot tub. There is wood for sale to use in the fireplace. The cabin is near many snowmobile trails.

We had a great stay in AuTrain on our last night the water went out but they brought us over water for toilets and took care of us regardless. Enjoyed our stay!
