Vacation rentals in Alfianello

This is a gorgeous home with stunning views of Lake Como. Very comfortable, quiet, and private. We greatly enjoyed our stay. It is important to have your own car to get to this location as walking to town would be challenging. Once we discovered the parking lots in town, using the car to get back and forth was not a problem. Highly recommend this home.

The place was great with all you need at a very honest price. The host was very helpful and kind. Gandria is a lovely picturesque place very close to Lugano. Great experience!

The apartment is very large, very clean, and has a nice view over the lake. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bakery and restaurant around the corner are super tasty. Max was always accessible and gave us tips for the area. Only the street is a bit noisy with the windows open.

Beautiful views and comfortable villa to stay a few nights. The villa felt like home and had everything we needed to cook our own meals with a grocery store a short walk away. The location of the accomodation is a fair hike up from the train station and town of Varenna and the busses didn’t run at regular/ convenient times. If the weather is fine and you don’t mind a walk, it’s definitely doable (without luggage). The accomodation and town has an old Italian charm about it, which we loved.

Valentina was our contact while we stayed in Limonta. She was the most friendly, kind, and responsive host we have ever known. She always went above and beyond what she had to. She gave us the most easy and helpful check-in information, checked in on us during our stay with great friendliness, and tipped us off to local experiences and restaurants to enhance our stay. The little home was private, peaceful, and with a fantastic terrace/view that we made the most of every day of our stay. We had such a nice little trip, and it will be looked back on fondly due to the special touch of Valentina!

The stay at Sandro's Castagneto House was pleasant and relaxing! The house perfectly reflects the description and photos in the listing, comfortable, warm and equipped with all the necessary comforts to rest a little. We really enjoyed it. The garden is well fenced (great work of the owner) our dog, even though she tried several times to escape because of the wild animals she couldn't! Sandro, the owner, is a lovely person, very helpful and attentive to the well-being of the client. He picked us up in the village and took us to the house, explained everything accurately (stoves, internet because the phone signal in the area is absent, etc.) and gave us directions on walks and leisure nearby. He was very kind and nice. If there is a chance, we will definitely come back, maybe in the summer for a nice weekend with friends! Thank you.

We had a fantastic stay in Christina’s home and will definitely be back. It is spotless with comfy beds and cool rooms for a good nights sleep. The balcony and use of the pool was brilliant in the hot weather. The free shuttle bus into Garda was also really handy and saved us a lot of time during our stay. Contact with Krissi was great and she went above and beyond to help us and recommend things. Thank you!

This was my second stay, and I enjoyed it just as much, if not more, than the first. The apartment is exactly as described—immaculately maintained and truly a home away from home. Rafaella has thoughtfully upgraded the bed, which was a much-appreciated improvement. The hosts are approachable, responsive, and always willing to assist. The apartment's location is ideal, nestled in a vibrant neighborhood filled with an array of food and beverage options. Additionally, the metro station is conveniently just a few steps away, making it perfect for exploring the city.
